Here today... why what a lucky bunch we are.
This is the beautiful DQ that I received from my fabulous swap partner Nise. I really love the pattern and fabric colors in the quilt she made for me and she sent so many wonderful extras including a paid for coffee just from her (how sweet is that)...I will treasure this DQ from you. Thank you so very much for your kindness and hard work.![]()

Yea - It's only the 30th of the month and my doll quilt was mailed out to debbyg today. According to the post office she should receive it on Friday and Saturday the latest. Wow that was cutting it a little close. Now to finish mugrug for another swap tonight so that can be mailed out tomorrow - what would the postal dept do with out all these swaps - good thing we all keep them going.
Be good to yourself - do one thing each day that makes you smile.
I received my Jan DQ from Elisabrat earlier this month - a lovely woven heart. So you can imagine my surprise when this arrived for me today.
Taffy and lovely fabric squares were used to package those beautiful boxes with dragonflies. Aren't the stunning?
Thank you so much Elisabrat for the wonderful gift - you are a gem.

Just for eye candy sake - this is one of the "other" things I have been working on. While this picture was taken before quilting and binding it is all I have as I was in a rush to finish and ship to my niece in time for her wedding shower so her guests could sign in the borders.
She has since reported that it was such a hit that no one would sign it - LOL They all posed for a picture with her holding the quilt and signed a page for her wedding album instead. I have not seen the picture yet.
Note: the skyline on the second layer is Paris - where her boyfriend/fiance proposed.

Paula, first the boxes are just lovely! How nice to receive a gift like that.
Second, wow! The skyline is amazing. What a wonderful piece you're creating.
