Pat, I am so sorry about your Mother. It hasn't been very long since my Dad passed away so I can imagine the pain you are experiencing. Just remember that she is in a much happier place and is free of all the pain she was going through. My thoughts and prayers are being sent your way.

Karen everyone has made more beautiful, creative pincushions and needle books as always.
Karen you were a real special host. You always cheered everyone on, and made it fun for everyone. I hadn't been in it as I use to be, but only because I couldn't keep up with as many things as I use too. I have many beautiful pincushions and needle books with all the pretty fancy pin accessories to show for it. Thank you for all you have done.

One of the best parts as with most swaps on the board is the new people we meet and become friends with.

I am so sorry to hear about Pat's sweet mother passing.
My prayers are many.
I also pray for all of you each day for the best.

Susan just brought to mind an overdue thank you for hosting this swap. I too met many new friends, and had beautiful pincushions and needle books to show for it. The talent here is amazing! It was amazing the pretty new pincushions and needle books that came from this swap every month. Not to mention me pushing myself to make something new. What comes to mind first is the nutty roasted turkey pincushion I made a few years back. I never would have thught to do something like that if no one was telling me I had a theme to do every month. Thanks for all your support in the swap. You are appreciated more than you will ever know.

CI received my PC/NC today, beautiful manikin dressed in a heart and rose dress, the cutest little animal Pillow about 12 inches long with the cutest ears and looks like angel wings( at least that's what I will call them) heart shaped eyes and buttons for the centers... A square pin cushion and a fancy needle case with lace and hearts, the needle holders are heart shaped, Thank you Irene, I do hope you can post a picture because I can't on this board...

Rosemary I am so glad you liked it all, the little animal is an owl for good luck....they do look like angel wings.
I went to load the photos and couldn't find them, I must of forgotten to take pictures. I am so sorry I usually take them right after I finish doing all the sewing...lol...so I don't forget when I mail.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I enjoyed hosting the swap but it is time for me to move on to other things. I felt that this swap was running out of steam. When I first took over, there were anywhere between 25 to 30 participants. Lately, we were lucky to have maybe 10 to 12. I'm glad that Teresa agreed to take over the swap and change directions with it. It should be a fun swap with each month being something different. I'm sure she will include a pincushion or 2 once in awhile.

Rosemary, is there any way you can take a picture of what you received and attach it to an email to me? I could post it for you.

Mary do you have any Android phone? Sometimes I take photos with my phone and email them to myself or I get on the board through my phone and load them that way. I feel so bad I forgot the photos.
