I can't give you any clues about the distance between us as that will totally

So your just going to have to wait hahahaha.

Hand work???????? I've been known to staple hems.............. . In Scotland they call a safety pin a 'Glasgow button'. Funnily I was born in Glasgow.

One little problem I have had with various SP's - they mention authors they like but they never say which books they have read by that author! Hard to know what to get!

Hmm... I am one of those who doesn't really like pinks. Especially hot pinks.
I also don't have an embroidery machine or do hand work.

BUT, my SP does hand work and I have STUFF from that estate sale still.

Yes. Stuff. Muaahaha

OK - well, I have a spoiled, cuddly dog -- actually four of them!

For my SP -- I had originally planned a "coffee" theme or "chocolate" theme to my box, but she doesn't like either. She does collect a rather common article which just happened to be included this week in Hobby Lobby's 50% off sale so I got three of them. We both dislike black licorice. And she lives sort of northwest of me. Oooh. Did I say too much?

I know that I am one who doesn't "list" favorite authors.

Mainly because I listen to audio books by "series" if there are
2 or more books in a series I will get ALL of them before I start
listening to them (until newer books get published). I do things
this way because I like to go from one book right into another.

Not to mention I will usually get as many if not all the books by
an author. Once I have listened to everything that I could get from
an author I will move onto a new author.

To help keep track of the authors & books I have listened to (or read)
I go to a website called "fictiondb". It is "limited" free, but for me
the $20 per year for unlimited access is well worth it, but many people
may not think so.

The reason I find this website to be worth the annual cost is because
I have tried numerous other ways to keep track of my audiobooks,
and this was by far the easiest, least "complicated" method for me.

My SP likes mysteries, so I plan to send her a book or two.
