Hey Blue! I feel your pain, girl! Been there, done that and kick myself for it!

Ok, I'm starting the one for this swap. I sure hope that whoever I get doesn't mind being surprised, but if you look under PICTURES...you'll find the one that is being sent for the swap to Japan. Won't guarantee that it will look like that, but it'll be nice.
Just ask Chele what kwhite's looks like,,,,she's seen that one. :) :)

Just jump in with both feet. The water is fine and I'm sure you will do well with the doll quilt.

No worries, BlueChicken. Hopefully your schedule will clear up in time for the next swap. We'll miss you for this one.

Thanks to everyone who has signed up so far. We have 16 swappers as of today! The sign up deadline is Friday, July 3, 2009.

I'm so excited!   I was thinking of ideas for the next doll quilt and settled on two different techniques but then was trying to decide which one to go for - then I had a brainwave!!! COMBINE THE TWO TECHNIQUES TOGETHER!!! :D :D :D I don't know if it's been done before but I've never seen it, I can't imagine it hasn't because now I thought of it, it seems obvious! Gonna go googlin!!! And no, I'm not saying what the techniques are, you'll have to wait and see!

since this is my first swap and will also be my first finished quilt is it ok to get started? Or should I wait to find out who my partner will be to see what they are expecting from me?
