Hav - I KNOW exactly what you mean about kids. My oldest daughter has
done some REALLY stupid things in the last 13+ years. The BIGGEST stupid
thing she did was marry hubby #1 who a LOSER he was and I HATED him.

But the most RECENT stupid thing she has done was ask me if I would rather
her date a guy who was 26 yrs old or 40 yrs old. Now granted I REALLY have
no say in who she dates, but come on kid give me a BREAK I am only 48 yrs
old, so NO I would prefer you NOT date someone so close to MY age LOL. She
is 30 yrs old, so in my opinion the 26 yr old would be suited, but who am I to
say either way LOL. That ended her talking to me about that topic THANKFULLY!
LOL.

Now about my SP box.

I so PLANNING to have it in the mail by yesterday, but for some
reason our household network dropped ALL the printers listed, so
I was unable to print the label. Hubs finally figured out what the
issue was yesterday and fixed it.

Last night I was planning to have the box ready for a scheduled
pick up today, but USPS did not want to play well with me. So it
is now set up for pick up tomorrow.

It is going WAY WAY south and east from me.

There is 1 personal item I made and a few other items that are
homemade as well.

WhooHoo....look what I had waiting for me today when I returned from Florida.....Thank you Stephanie (not for sure what your screen name is). I got lots of homemade goodies....love them....the cutest scottie dog (my real one is Lily), several bags (for shoes and such), a sewing machine cover with a thread catcher and pin cushion to match. Love Kaffe Fasset and got 2 nice pieces of his design fabric, sissors lock (LOVE this....no one will now use my sissors for anything but material!!), a needle case with needles, embroidery thread, note pad and a necklace. It is a great package with all the things I love. Thank you Stephanie!! Can't get my pic to load ;o( must be doing something wrong.....

I received the most amazing package today from the wonderful and talented leiladylei54. I know I can't list everything she put in the package. She made my card (she is a photographer too). She made me a needle holder ( I didn't have one). She decorated me a dishtowel. She made me a pincushion with goodies in the jar. She sent me some Hawaiian tea and Kona coffee and my favorite jelly beans. She chose some lovely fabrics. Included a Hawaiian applique book, I don't think I will be able to do it justice but I will try. The box was just stuffed and I feel so special(I had a rough day on the road today.
. Thank you again Leiladylei54.

Default Lovely package

Juli: Thank you for the lovely package that you sent to me this month. I love the high heel bag even thought I cannot wear them anymore, I can still dream. I also received 8 beautiful fat quarters and a purple thang. It was so nice that you collected things on your trip and included postcards from Yellowstone National Park and Mount Rushmore. Those 2 places are on my bucket list. I always need the pens and the mug rug.

I just opened a my SP package from Jody AKA Buttonsgrow (what a cute screen name!) Thank-you so much Jody! The little green sewing machine magnet is sooo very cute. A great sized notepad, at my age I make a lot of 'to do' lists and also note cards. Wonderful Fall FQ's in time for making a table topper! A quilt book with an idea I'm already contemplating using which artistically places Yo Yo's on a lampshade. Those who know me on the boards know my quest to make 5600 Yo Yo's for a Queen-sized quilt....almost @ 4000 done....almost there! So making a few more matching Yo Yo's for the lampshades in the guest bedroom!

Thank-you so much for your thoughtful package Jody ~
