March - Boom 18

Its a kind of a "mistake" block. I had picked out a pattern in one of the 100 blocks books, cut the fabric, put it on the sewing machine and when I went to sew it the cut pieces were there but no pattern. I have no idea which pattern I was going to use and now cant find so I improvised and made my own Guess the fabric came out of the book and I just tossed the book in the tub with the rest. Oh well...its a nice block to make, whatever it is! LOL

These are my final 2 blocks for the March swap. Jabas 2nd and Quiltermommas The other may look white but its a pale lavender. Now on to the April group! These are packed and ready to mail whenever you tell us to mail them Janice. Iunderstand you might not want that many envelopes sitting around for weeks.

Nice, Joan!
I went over to a friend's house this morning to use her long arm machine. I had a Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt that was huge... Grand Illusion. So I spent 2.5 hours squiggling and looping my way across it. It was really fun to use and I got a big quilt done so fast. Usually I do straight line quilting so I don't use the long arm very much.

Joan love the block thank you so much.
I have an HQ 16 and table...I love it!! Bought a 16 sit down, used it once. Just can't get into the sit down quilting for some reason, I really should sell it. Haven't even turned it on in over a year and that was when I had the Bernina dealer do the yearly service ....maybe I should bring it to florida and try to use it.
