What are larkspur ? Is it a ground cover or flowers? Anyone have a picture you can share? Love the pc and nb also the scissor case and thread catcher. Very pretty handkerchiefs. My mom always had a cotton one on her. On sundays she would carry a pretty fancy one. I guess ladies don't do that much anymore. Deb pretty cloth you displayed them on. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Mary, I have never grown larkspur, but it grew wild like crazy in the meadows where I lived in the Mts of Colorado.
I love the color and can't wait to see if I can successfully get some to grow here in the high desert of NM!

Deb that is beautiful. Hope you can grow it. Is it usually a wild flower? We have something similar growing along the ditches around here in Missouri. I want to stop and dig some up, but it is against the law to do that. Thanks for posting the picture.

Here is the wonderful pincushion and needlecase swap I received from Jan Rutherford. I love the beautiful hand embroidery that she did on each of the pieces. I also received several fat quarters in colors I just love. Jan, you are awesome.

Larkspur are perinials that come up year after year. The seeds can be scattered anywhere (that you want flowers to come up). They will come up in abundance. I thought they would do well in NM. You don't need a lot of water. The tiny flowers are lavender, pink or white. The plants start emerging during the winter time and are blooming in the spring. Some of my plants were 4' tall with very swispy leaves. Omee5

Since everyone seems to like sending and receiving sets, we will stay with that from now on.

I am changing the swap from a secret one to assigning partners. It is a lot less work on my part. Y'all don't realize how much work goes into a secret swap. First there are sign ups, then I have to match names, then I go to each persons PM, copy and past all their information into another PM to the other person. It takes me over 2 hours to do all this. I have too much on my plate now. I hope nobody is upset over this. If the majority would prefer to have it as a secret swap then I will be more than happy to pass the duties over to someone else. Thanks for understanding.
