CajunBear, what's the name of that block? I really like that. I can see how it's made but would like to know the name. Excellent job by the way! You know imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?

Dr just called so I'll be going out later today and will pop this in the mail to you!

Jigs, you're doing great! You know I'm glad you stayed and I hope others do too. The picture resizing thing is my least favorite change but not impossible. We can figure that out together too. You know where to find me.

Man, I just bought a new rotary cutter in August, and would you believe it is broken already? It is a Fiskars. I like them best because they fit my hand and easy to put blade back in safety. Now I have to go over to Joanns, ask for a replacement - if they will give me one - other wise I have to buy another new one. My last one lasted me over two years and this has been just over three months and I have used it less. I need to get busy on my swap partners block and now I am stuck in water. Oh, life without a rotary cutter.

Hey QuilterMomma. I've had my issues with rotary cutters too. I read reviews on JoAnns when I went to buy another. The Omnigrid got the best reviews I think. I now have the Omnigrid and two Olfas. Both are better than my first one (the blue brand). JoAnns just sent me another 50% off coupon. I bet you could get one too--if you can't find one online PM me and I'll see if I can pass a current one on too you for print-out.

I'm not feeling well today (thanks kids ) I am not real active. But, Cajun's block was inspirational, so I was experimenting and made this from scraps. Does anyone want it? It isn't wasn't I was going for but is still pretty. Also, one direction is 12 1/4" and the other 12 1/2". I still need some blue/yellow/white stars.
