My mug rugs was supposed to have been mailed on Saturday.
Alas my hubs forgot to mail them.

When he brought them into me late Sunday afternoon the
packages looked like they had been put in an old washing
machine wringer.

Had to open them, there was an item that was crushed,
and had to removed.

They DID get in the mail on Monday for sure, because I
took them to work for mailing.

I have have come down with the crud that everyone seems
to be getting. Didn't work yesterday or today.

oh I am so sorry your not doing well quilty-Louis! I hope you get better really soon. I am glad to hear your missed mailing got mailed. Its better late than never is my theory. this is also why we do themes a month early lol. I never get the swaps that you are doing for that month. talk about pressure if a holiday is due the 30th but the holiday is the 16th? yikes! rush rush rush. no thanks!

It arrived! This is the mug rug that quiltylouise sent to me, I sure love her embroidery machine and my name on it too. A stub nose stiletto, a needle chart pin cushion and some spool felts which will be used immediately, I have one machine that is missing them. Yes I love "sparkle" also, in fact I like it so much that I have 3
hotfix rhinestone setting tools, and approx 22 colors, and even
found some new (to me) shapes such as hearts, marquis, triangle,
square, and teardrop.
Of course most of these new shapes I am still waiting for them
to arrive from China. LOL

I love rhinestones too. think I got it from my mother. She used to go to the Opera in SF all the time. She wore these amazing silk dresses (think Suzy Wong from the 50's) she made and then these rhinestones around her neck that just were jaw dropping. They were high end tremendously beautiful sparkly necklaces I never have had the courage to wear. they stood out so wonderfully. lol. My niece who is a fashion model wears them with great aplomb. lol. me? I would be a fish out of water! but rhinestones on my tshirts? oh heck yeah. I love looking at them and I love wearing them and love decorating my things with sparkle. give me a glittered card and I am one happy camper. yup. sparkles I love. cant wait to see what else you do with them quilty gem!
