    jyllybean I saw your Lone Star quilt on your blog and it is absolutely gorgeous! Is it all batiks? I bought a similar pattern and was thinking of using all batiks.

    Yes, it is all batiks. It's still not finished, though! It's a special one that's going to go on the wall, so I'm going to send it out to be quilted.

    I love it! I want to make one to go on the blank wall behind my couch, but have to decide on a color scheme. I actually bought a Dahlia pattern from Amazon someone here recommended.

    Just sent my info to join the swap. I've never done a mug rug swap but it looks like bunches of fun! Since others on here shared their likes I thought I'd share some of mine. I don't like pastels much. I like vibrant colors that stand out. I also love fall/earthy colors too....yellows, reds, greens, oranges. And I LOVE owls and angels :-) I'm so looking forward to seeing all of the creativity that comes from all you gals.

    I can't wait... Have made a couple of mug rugs in anticipation. If the partner I get hates those colors, I will make another one! Can't wait to get my 'name' next Thursday...
