Mine is all ready to go and will be shipped out tomorrow. Here are three clues as to who it is going to;

1. zip = 22
2. I haven't been able to find any posting from her.
3. Here is a pic of the back with her favorite colors.

I got your MR's today... well I probably got them Saturday, but I went to my parents house for the weekend to sew and apparently catch a cold. Thank you, I love them! In fact, I have some of the light blue material in my stash...

LE BRAT IS BACK. HAH you think you can stop me from razzing you? you are oh so mistaken Ms.Marytoddliz I think you absolutely need razzing but not for what you think. ITs for stealing MY MESSED UP DAY. were our moons aligning? did our witchy things get together and say hey girls its TIME? sheesh. now I wont tell you about my day. nope not going to mention MY postal experience nope nope you cant make me. but you can beg and maybe?..

oh fine bet ya I beat her silly excuse for getting free laundry service, food three times a day and well all those other perks at the assisted living. Ready? I left the house to go to the post office and market and pharm. Ok get to the post office figure heck no one in the lot will zip on in and mail my packages. Yeah! I put things on the counter and here things begin to decinigrate. First off I had put this table runner for a dear friend on the counter. Going to give it one more quick over. I had put it in the drier with a damp cloth and a static thing to help pull any cat hairs that might have snuck on it before I sent it. she is allergic. What I did just before I left however was say. honey can you take a pic he says put it down over there and he would so i did. thanks! put it in the bag. ok take a look at it under the florecent lights and think holy hell there is CAT HAIR on this. For the next thirty minutes with a damp rag I am wiping looking wiping looking leaning down sideways. ok clear next section and so on think ok check the back put it back on the counter RIGHT IN the area where I had wiped stuff off on. ok then wipe, lean down, wipe lean down. finally I think we got it all. I had her check with me when I finished a section paranoid oh no please no more. GREAT tada one in a box. Second is a small set of these cool little boxs I found for a member here so pretty mother of pearl and great. I put them in another box so they wouldnt break. we wrap them all up in a box tape it shut I put her first and last name and then say hey where is the mail to? couldnt find it. call home nope its not there. ok look in the truck. nope its not there. She is kind enough to say here is my phone number just call me I will add it and you can pay me tomorrow dont worry. such a sweet post office lady. I go to the pharmacy. they need blood work insurance giving them trouble wont pay. oh ok let me go find that for you. otherwise its over 180.00 um not. so go to get won ton soup forgot chinese is not open go to market to get stuff make it myself. come home light inside this brain goes on. uh the address is inside the box that is now taped up ready to mail. The girl is sweet enough to cut the box open get it out and retape it for me.

Great day huh? oh and the shower. not happening. see the doc called at 10 am to cancel and reschedule on me for the fourth time. so.. winners day? I guess. i made a good soup, sewed a bit, got out and got fresh fresh air. learned how sweet that girl is. also know I get the first opening at that adult home before marybeth can even think of moving on in.

oh, yes! i've just been rolling in laughter, roll, roll roll! yubetcha! i start my day early because i have some stuff that MUST get out today. notice the big MUST? i did too. so i start by auditioning 3 fabrics for binding and decide i will match the back because then it will be winter on either side, front or back. and i must say, it's going very well, this whole binding thing. grann of 6 showed me a new way of doing binding that looks great and doesn't require laborious hand stitching, which on a day when i don't have to get things done and out, i enjoy doing. but i'm trying to get this done. i get to the end where you have to overlap and then re-stitch and then finish..... and i put the incorrect sides together (i was going to say wrong sides but we all know with fabric, that's something different. so i unsew. then i get them placed, one over the other and i sew from the wrong corner, i un sew. then i very v-e-r-y carefully match the 2 fabrics, not by the holes i have now peppered them with, but by th right sides and corners, etc, and i stitch. it's RIGHT! halleluyah, i can hear brat singing now ( sorry, brat, it's not coming to your house, pout). soooooo, i pat the nice binding into place and it is just this little teensy, very small, hardly noticable, small bit too big. i am not going to un-sew!!!!! so i very carefully ease the extra in, and then turn the steam on it, and then it just looks 3 days pregnant-- just a very tiny teensy hardly noticable GLARING pootch. so i quickly grabbed a box, looked 3 rooms top to bottom for the tape ( it was under the box that i was trying to put together, called myself every synonym for stupid i could think of ( all three words) wrpped it in plastic, folded it in many ways, looked like mangled origami, and taped the box shut. fort knox should be as securely closed as this box! i forgot to put the person's address inside, in case it didn't make it all the way there in a box that is covered 200% in shipping tape. and why doesn't it have the address inside? because i don't have the address. it's still in the computer. and i'm so forgetful, i can't remember who it is i'm supposed to be sending it to. so i go to my laptop, the one with the power cord that you have to hold in place because it was made defectively, that's a story for tomorrow, and it won't let me have my mail. it says i have to sign in. i NEVER sign out, but it insists and gives me 5 chances and if i don't get it right by the fifth try little rabbit foo foo and i will be turned into goons ( hare today, goon tomorrow!) so i'm thinking, which would crack first? the laptop or the wall?? i can't afford a new wall so i call dh who is normally very techno-savvy and surprize! i have been hacked! oh, joy, oh thrill, oh, hot tamales! so, while you guys were playing games at the p.o. (and we know what that stands for, because by now i am very p.o.ed) i am left waiting for the powers at aol to allow me access to my e-mail, all 136 of them, and it is now 5:18, which is not only the perfect time for a drinky, but also 18 minutes past the time when the p.o. closes. it will go out in the morning. my dh assured me that my mother could not have been born the year she was because aol says that's not the right year, and they should freakin' know!! so pardon me while i keep on just a laughin' away at my funny, funny day! good times, and no, NO cookies. now i ask has anyone had more fun today??

Let's see, no sewing fun yesterday. Instead I got in 15 hours of work! I did my 9 at my regular job, then had to go to go payroll for this music store that a friend opened before Christmas. Of course, I can't just go do what I planned to and leave, because they always have questions. So what should have taken 30 minutes was instead 2 hours. Then I get home and eat and log in remotely to the contractor I do bookkeeping for and start trying to get his new software up and running. It's an upgrade in year version, but he downgraded from "complete" to "pro" so it won't see the old company file and let it just import and go be happy. Instead, I had to export lists from the old software and import it into the new one. Sounds easy enough, but it's time consuming, has to be done in a certain order, and he hasn't activated the software OR the payroll service he paid for, so now we have 4 uses left before I'm locked out again! Message to him to please do that today or he won't be able to calculate payroll this week!

Oh, and the fun doesn't end there. Because it was a forced upgrade, I can't print W-2's or 1099's from the old system. I'm going to have to get everything entered, then get the totals for everyone for the year and input them in the new system as beginning balances, then print them from the new system. Of course, they made it so the capacity to do all this ended December 1st, so that you were forced to upgrade and buy another full year of payroll service before you could do payroll after that date. Since he didn't tell me he couldn't get the new program to work until January, I'm guessing he's been writing payroll checks based on 40 hr checks from right before that. Oh my, this is going to be fun....and W-2's are supposed to be out in 2 days. Thankfully there's only 2 employees! I must knock that out tonight.

I was thinking that I should mostly finish the year in the old program, but now I'm thinking that putting it in the new one would be better. Grrrr! So much to import/export! Why didn't he do this last summer when we first found out that they were doing this?

I got my mug rug this weekend and just now posting a pic, sorry, my youngest (Beau 2) has been sick with breathing troubles again so we busted out the nebulizer again. Thank you so much Elsiabrat, it is so bright and cherry and my favorite color green. It really brightens up my little table with this dreary winter weather, altough it was 78 here in Oklahoma City yesterday. Also thank you for the tea it was delicious, I have never tried those before so you broadened my horizons, and the fat quarter looks great in my stash, you made me realize I dont have alot in blue so I need to stock up. Thank you again for all your hard work and sharing with me. Hopefully I can get mine sent out tomorrow!!!!!
