I was not in on this swap, but if you need an angel let me know, and I will try to do what I can. Just pm me.

I wonder if customs could have something to do with the mug rug delay for international. I ordered material from the US and it was shipped on Jan 22 and it still hasn't arrived....maybe my mug rug is sitting beside my fabric in a super large warehouse! LOL.

Customs going from the US to Canada is notoriously slow and messy. At my old job, I shipped an accessory for a set of drums to a customer in Canada in October, 2011. It sat in their customs office forever before they released it. Then UPS only took a slip out to the address to let the man know it was released, so he calls me wanting to know why they didn't deliver it. Of course, I had to refer him back to UPS. He calls them and they say they don't have it, but I can see it sitting there on the tracking and have the exact time & date of when customs released it. Well, I call UPS & come to find out, they'd processed the release, and notified UPS, but hadn't actually released it. They held it for another 2 or 3 days first. They wouldn't tell him how much the duties and import taxes were on it until they showed up at the door to collect, and then of course they couldn't take anything but certified funds, so it was another couple days before they came back because of where he lived. He ended up making a special trip to another town to pick up the package, only to find out it was on the truck already, and by the time he got home, they'd dropped it off at his door. That was additionally disturbing, since it was marked "adult signature required." I got the original notification that it had been handed over to Canadian customs on October 19th, and it wasn't left on his doorstep until November 9th. (I still have access to that email account online and I just had to go back and find this shipment when I saw this!)

Good to know. The January fabric hasn't arrived, and the company has charged me for the February fabric. If I don't receive anything by the end of February - I will have no choice but to cancel this fabric membership. I was so looking forward to a monthly package arriving!

I want to put in my two cents worth here, on doing themes. I personally would rather have no theme and keep it open choice. Less pressure that way. Just my thoughts. But I will do themes if there is one.
Tracibug, I love the mug rug you made for your husband. Made me giggle...
All the mug rugs I have seen so far are great! Lets pat ourselves on the back!

yes they are lovely arent they? mary can you post a pic of the one i sent you? I didnt take one before I popped it off. AGAIN. My memory is needing a swift kick in the rear.

I have sent my boom blocks to Canada and Scotland and now one to japan and about 2 weeks was right. We also put scrap fabric on the envelope so it went faster and for the record I sent one to New Zealand took about one week to get there. so again no excuses seriously. I think someone(s) have flaked. I hope no one is sick or ill they couldnt get here to post but.. last year in the hospital I couldnt send something I asked my daughter to go online for me and post where I was.

Today I am thinking a glorious sunny day . snow on Tues so taking this sunshine moment. I am about to fix breakfast if anyone would care to come over and have some mexican food. huevos rancheros and lets see we can add some avocado and cheese and a bit of diced jalapeno and sour cream and hot corn tortillas.. it sounds pretty good. left overs are amazing black beans homemade lots of garlic and onions and chicken broth and i am supposed to eat like none of it. sigh.. ok fine. I will eat my apple. it was good though. kids might eat some..oooh a breakfast burrito thats the ticket. what? I cant eat toritllas? shoot. what? no salsa or beans or tomatos? or cheese? or sour cream? well what kind of burrito is that?? air burritos. I am having air burritos today. yum. low cal.

you can at least look at the burritos on the calendar. i licked the page and it tasted pretty good. kinda salty and male-ish..... uh, i mean, had a real salsa flavor (yeah, that's it!) a pico de gallo flair!
i stayed up all night doing laundry, which is not in my job description, and now my back is being totally unco-operative and snarky. i will take another anti-imflammatory, and a pain popper, watch a british mystery to let everything get working in the system of broken parts and damaged toys, i call my body. then i will begin to sew. thought today was a virtual sew day, but looks like i have the wrong date. bummer!! dh is putting together my new sewing table that assured me it would fit my machine, which it will, when i cut out a space that looks like the wheel on the side of my machine. this sm cabinet was on sale at joann's.com, and weighs a ton-- i don't think it can be taken apart without breaking it. i am ANNOYED!!

I sent off PMs a couple of days ago to the ones that have not received or told me they received their mug rugs and no reply yet. I will wait until Wed then I will have to call out my angels and maybe put a negative mark - next to your name on my papers.
