love the c and needlecases. Susan, love the pocket for the scissors
Love all the goodies that were sent. I want them ALLLLLLLL
Love that lotus flower PC. Rosemary, I know you mentioned once about them
and did anyone mind getting it. Well, I for one, LOVE them. if you're
great at something , do it. and those come out so pretty every time.

Mary.... stupid question, why into the woods, not the barn to stay warm, or does
the cold not bother little Bully. Your other was born in the spring, it was warm,
but now it's freezing. I'd bring him to the barn, or do they not think that way?
I don't know about bulls at all. we have them here on the island, a few farms
but none I got to know to much about. You got close enough to know he's a bull.
I want a picture of this cutie.

Sat down this AM and got caught up on that has been happening with the exchanges lots of neat packages with beautiful PC's and NC's as well as all of the goodies I need to get busy life just keeps throwing me curve balls I keep trying to keep up. I don't think I will be able to do the Dec. swap money is just way to tight for anything right now. How ever nothing is forever so I know things will change and I am due. Boy is it cold 17 this am with chill factor. Now the furnace has gone out and using small heaters to try and heat the house. At least it isn't as cold as it is outside. I sat sewing in my studio yesterday and the heater quit working. Boy were my hands and feet cold when I finally went in the house. Love my studio but there are advantages to having a sewing room in the house. Heat is a very good thing. Course the furnace man can't make it till the 18th of this month. I hope it warms up soon.

Lynnie, our barn is open on the south side to let sun and fresh air in. It has some hog wire (square design) across it with an opening for them like a door. She probably took him to the woods to hide him while she grazed in the pasture. They like to hide their babies. She put him in a low wash (where water washes out the dirt) where he was out of the wind and hidden from cyotes etc. I didn't take the camera to the barn,I forgot it. Didn't think about a picture till they were out of the barn. Sorry. I'll get one soon and post it. Just know that his mama put him in a safe dry place that is probably warmer than the open sided barn.

Where to start. Yesterday was not a great day for me. But even though I was sick I still had to do the dogs, mother's ride, and babysit after school. NO SEWING at all so now I'll be mailing out tomorrow.
It's 38 here so not too bad yet but I did hear the s word for Friday.
Stylish Home you got 2 great swaps. The fabric on the pc is really nice. I got a cute turkey too.

Jan I hope your sister is better and you got a good swap from Susan

Lynnie watch out for the snow
Karen that is a really nice pic of the patriotic rose

lilmunchkinbut that is a great package you got from RoseMary. I love the pincushion. It's so pretty. You got so many wonderful goodies too. I see little butterflies flying around your flower. lol.. So cute. I can't tell what some of the goodies are. Give us a clue. It helps to know what others get for ideas. Very cute hexies. I love those too.

Mary- congratulations on the new baby. I love seeing them when they are only a few days old. It's been a long time now, but I use to help feed some small ones with the big baby bottles, and if I took it out of their mouth they would suck my thumb.

Lynnie that is the first scissor pocket I ever made that the scissors I put in would stay in. lol

Roserips -I hope you get your heat back soon. Please bundle up if you have too. It always happens at the wrong time doesn't it? I know what you mean about the money too.

Pat-Our temperature has dropped again too. It's in the 30's today for the high. I think tonight is going to be very cold. Many people around here getting colds and stomach viruses. Yuck! Me and hubby have been fighting a cold.

Have a great day all!
