Knitette, lovely picture.

Today is our Veterans day as well. I like the idea of 2 mins silence as a remembrance.

Our exuberant post lady did show up Sat afternoon so my package is on it's way. Didn't check the delivery date, but I would guess in the early part of this coming week. My SP has posted fairly recently. And got Lori's PM saying she got my Pm so am off the hook for that.

Any news on Krystyna other then they got an apartment?

I witnessed a 2 minute silence once in Israel...it was amazing. I would love to hear how Krystyna is doing, too. My pkg to my SP was delivered yesterday but I haven't heard from her yet..Oh well, probably away for the weekend. It is really windy here today..I think I will go sew for a few hours.

Well I couldn't join y'all this month as I had to deal with the long travel day for my little GD's funeral, so I'm hoping for lots of great photos this month. So now I'm putting my thinking cap on for a quick something for my SS gift instead. If I get super lucky, I might get a birthday card in the mail from my kids. So please..... LOTS and LOTS of pictures please!!!

Toodles,
Tricia

I'm so sorry girls, I have had a few weird (to say the least) days this weekend and I just haven't really been on here or my computer much... I talked to Krystyna on Friday morning, she has her apartment and they were getting things for it... She ordered a bed to be delivered on Thursday this week and right now they have a borrowed air mattress... She was going to talk to her Insurance agent just after I talked to her... She is very upbeat and if you believe in Miracles I am sure she has many to tell you as she has told me... Seems things seemed to all fall in place for them.. They were very lucky to get the apartment , on and on her Miracles appeared... I do have an address for her so if you want it please PM me or Ronda ( RWquilts), we both have it... I am going to text her tonight and when she answers I will let you know what I hear... God Bless and have a good week everyone.. Be thankful for what you have... Rosemary

Another hint for my SP..she doesn't like candy. What willpower, wish I were more like her. She does like pinks and greens.

If I forget anyone who is hurt or suffering, please forgive me. The prayers are there, even if the memory is lapsing. I have not been on the board recently due to family visiting. Have missed it.

Trisha - so sad to hear about the passing of your GD. My heart hurts for you.
Knitette - now I really can't wait to get to Great Britian - what a gorgeous photo, and such clean water!!
Jessie - happy to hear you are home from the hospital and feeling better.
Jaba - since I like teal (and pink and purple), I MUST be one of you SP's this month, right?

Happy to hear of all of Krystyna's blessings in the wake of her recent disaster. My DD finally has power back in NJ courtesy of some wonderful workers from Virginia who came up to help. But my DGK's will not be able to go back to school for weeks, it seems. Hopefully sooner than later. That certainly ruins my plans to visit during Spring break and spend a quality day with each of the 3 individually. They will not have that time off from school now as they will have already used up their "snow" days before snow even gets here.

I made another cowl this month for my SP. Hint - she indicated last month that she would like one, and I hope that she meant it, and was not just being polite with her comments. This time my yarn stash revealed a dusty rose color that was begging to be used. It will go good with grey, black, brown, cream, white, navy, and cranberry. I'm hoping SP has a coat of one of those colors. The color of the cowl qualifies as one of her favorites (although rose was not specifically stated as one). Cowl will be traveling only 1/2 the distance as last month when it winged its way to the east coast. Another clue is furbaby lives with her. Since I have today off, my plan is to make a Christmas ornament and get the box sent tomorrow or Wed.

Happy Monday, all. I'm bowing my head for all the fallen vets and for all those who are still currently serving - we owe them so much.

Jaba's box could also be coming to me...
My box is leaving in the morning....didn't want my pal to get everything in one day since I have her on another swap this month too !!!
