It's official! I ran out to the post office on my lunch hour so you should receive your package in a day or 2 SP. I don't think I have seen my SP post on the board but here is a little hint. You live 75.4 miles from me. I could have taken the drive to deliver the package myself and it would have taken me 1 hour and 35 minutes. You also have a quilt shop in your area called Creative Fabrics. Is it a nice shop? Do tell.

What wonderful packages,
I'm making some warm spiced pecans for those of us on the bench.

mail ran today, still out here. I think I'd like to try those pecans, if you don't mind. Thanks. With my broken arm, I can't even crochet a scarf to keep me warm. The arm is healing, so maybe I can do one later for someone else.

Now I know what pumpkin butter is. Made 16 pints today, actually just finished. Had to put an english muffin in the toaster and spread some on it, oh my....that stuff is sooooooooooooo good!! I'll bring some for you ladies and you can see what you think. We can sprinkle some of those pecans on top, mock pumpkin pecan pie.

We're becoming kindred spirits Brenda. Really glad we seem to like each others company.

I will be posting a picture as soon as I get this camera figured out, but I received my SP package today. (It might have been there for a few days, but I have been out of town). I just love the material. Two nice pieces of purple and lavendar material (my favorite color) and a darling piece of pumpkin fabric, a pair a nice scissors by Simplicity, a Pet Pal package for making bandanas, dog collar cover and some doggy decals (we have rescue dogs), a beautiful purple piece that has embroidered purple flowers on it. I may just frame it instead of using it because it is so pretty. Also included are three sets of scratch pads in 3 different sizes marked today, tomorrow and whenever, and a real nice quilting magazine that I haven't seen yet. Thank you so much to my secret pal, VickiW. I love everything you sent.

I will share my Chicken soup with you! It is making me feel better! I put a whole chicken in the crock pot this morning with 3 quartered onions and some spices, added celery and carrots around noon, and last but not least I added some hot peppers! I am going to knock this cold out!

Hope you like it spicy!

Spicier the better Marybeth. Well for me anyways.....Hope you get to feeling better really quick. Always make chicken noodle soup when I'm sick or hubby is. Use to for my kids too and when they get a cold, flu, etc now they call and say "send that chicken noodle soup mom" Holly molly, I must have done something right. Sorry quiltnut4ever, didn't mean to leave you out. Vanogay and I are in another swap that we are both waiting on also, hence, kindred spirit. Maybe we'll all have mail tomorrow!! But we won't be going back and forth now, our sender let us know it's in the mail and why it wasn't, very nice of her as she always mails quickly. Can you tell? she's been my partner several times.
