October Secret Pal Swap Closes September 30th 4:00pm
#11
Is anyone signed up for the Christmas Secret Santa exchange? I sign up for it every year too. I have been very fortunate in receiving lovely packages from the senders in it too. If you haven't signed up be sure and do so. The more the merrier.

I am in for October....PM just sent.
Clmay, you will love this Swap. It is a lot of fun, very generous participants, and our hostess is wonderful.
Cafjo, Yes, I will be signing up for the Secret Santa. I have done this for three years in a row and have enjoyed the chit-chat around the holidays and have always received a wonderful package from my Santa.
Also, keep in mind their is also an Ornament swap that is a lot of fun.

Sorry to be so late in getting names to everyone. Surgery went well but that night my temperature went up to 103 so ended up staying longer than expected. Doing ok now, still in pain but hey, what are pain pills for? Also I had car trouble on the way to the hospital and after I was in surgery my sister took my car up to have it looked at. It would clunk and drop down in speed, the dials on the dashboard were swinging back and forth and die when you turned a corner. My sister said she hoped the car would do it when the mechanic test drove it. It did and then caught on fire!! Didn't get it fixed until Thursday about 5:00pm. $700 repair bill. Will start giving out names now.

I have my name. I haven't had you before that I remember. You aren't picky about color but are about pattern, and your most wanted item is something that is currently a fad among quilters. I'm off to shop!

Lori - sorry to hear of your troubles.
I'm sitting this month out, but wanted to share the fabulous package I received from my September Angel Catjo as I know few will be visiting the September thread. She really outdid herself.

Well, best laid plans.... oft go awry. I had planned on getting back on the board on Thursday to post the pic of the wonderful package Angel Catjo sent, but for some reason kept being bounced off the board. The package was filled with lots f fabric, labels, pattern, cute plaque for my apartment, glue stick, a book, notepad, and my most wanted -- a 1/4" foot with guide for my Singer 301a. Thank you so very much, Cathy!
