Here is my fruit block...apples and watermellon. What do you think? Too much? The color isn't quite a bright in person as it shows up in the picture, but it is bright. On the others I will use a darker green I think.

Clever use of fabric patterns, Ronda, on your watermelons and apples. DH is planting tons of watermelon in our corral. Yummmmmm...

I love the fruit Ronda! That should give others some ideas for different fruits and veggies. I would love to have all kinds of fruits and veggies in mine and you can never have too many flowers in a garden! Actually, I am surprised there isn't more pics of the flowers people are making. Maybe I will make another set of blossoms! Well, this is getting addicting isn't it?!

I think we'll have a great variety of flowers as well as other fun garden things as time goes on...I know I will be making more flower blocks myself and who knows what else? I'm having fun dreaming and trying things out here.

RW it looks like a happy fruit face. I say that because my hubby sees smilie faces in everything. I must be turning in to him. Anyway, it made me chuckle and I LOVE it.

I've been trying to make up a flamingo pattern with its head down. I took the pic from a picture on a mirror my hubby inherited from his grandfather. Making PP patterns isn't so easy.

Been busy this morning exploring the internet to find 'more' pp patterns. Here is a site I ran into. Lots of free patterns available. http://sewhooked.com/free-quilt-patterns/

Craft, your revised bee looks terrific!

Linda great links with paper piecing patterns. I like how many of them are rated as to how hard they are to make. I had a good chuckle when I got to the tire. I was wondering why they made the water melon grey/black. Take a good look at it. Wouldn't that pattern make a good watermelon if they changed the color? LOL
