Weather!
IN Michigan it is colder than it is in ALASKA! -12 before the wind chill yikes! I have been hibernating since January 1st with a few trips out but right back into my cozy lair. You would think that I would be accomplishing piles of .....piles ....nope I keep thinking this is ME time. Okay it has been me time for almost a week. Poor husband still has to go to work in this weather took him 50 minutes for his regular 10 minute commute. YUCK! I am venturing this afternoon to go stay with the kids I nanny. My commute is usually 30 minutes all highway. Dear hubby said highway is an ice rink with cars and vans spinning sideways. So off I go on the side roads????? This probably wouldn't be so dramatic if I didn't spend an entire week hidden away. Stay warm....... Barb |

Contest time............... see if anyone is here this weekend.
Okay at my house football is on all weekend long. Doesn't matter who is playing as long as there is a football, helmets and guys he is watching. I also like this time of year with football we always do "picks" for our favorite teams with my kids and their spouses. I am very systematic about my choices....I usually pick the cutest quarterback! So yeah I am going for Tom Brady! Hey last year I came in 2nd place and this year I am tied for 1st. Maybe Vegas should take notice. So here is the contest....all about the SuperBowl 1) What year did the SuperBowl take place? 2) How many SuperBowls have the Green Bay Packers win? 3) What year did the New York Jets win the SuperBowl? 4) What year did they play the SuperBowl in the Silverdome in Pontiac MI? 5) What year did they play the SuperBowl at Ford Field in Detroit MI? 6) What year did the Detroit Lions win the SuperBowl? Okay PM me your answer by 9pm Sunday night..... PS. # 6 is a trick question....Detroit Lions have never won the SuperBowl.....we have never even been invited to play.:( |
