I want to address the idea of the question of what is your kitchen decor. In my mind I was thinking if someone had roosters and I HAD rooster fabric i would try to make something with roosters in it, if not I would make what I wanted OR I might not make anything hand made at all. It is all a matter of choice, YOUR choice if you have additional information you can do with it what you want. As for ME I want the postage stamp pot holders. In all the time I have been in this swap and then hosting I have never gotten pot holders I just thought of that so Brenda they are MINE do you hear me?

P.S. I think those postage stamp potholders could be considered eclectic and would probably fit right into my kitchen -- in fact, I'd be willing to set them up as the focal point in the whole place. (Subtle enough hint???)

My daughter had her baby on Sunday. She is a beautiful little girl. It does look like she is going to have to have surgery to correct a defect, but should be ok. It was wonderful to watch her come into this world.
Her name is Harper Reese Johnson https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net...25700568_n.jpghttps://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net...25700568_n.jpg |

Thank you Krystyna and Greenini. That is my brother in the video. You can see how swollen he is. He was always a little guy before. He desperately wanted a heart transplant but was deemed ineligible because he has diabetes. You are right Krystyna about them not being alone in that leaky boat. Our family is very self reliant and full of faith. That is what keeps us going.

Oh, Fay. I am so sorry to hear this. Is that your brother on the video? I only wish he could receive a transplant. Sending you lots and lots of hugs during this awful time of trials.
The joblessness is another issue that so many are plagued with these days - that or underemployment. Sometimes it seems that there is no solution except that we all return to the 1800s and move in with each other and grow or catch our own food. I only hope that they will find a tiny bit of solace in knowing that they are not in that leaky boat alone. Praying for you and your family that everyone will find strength and grace to carry on. |
