Here's my second set. The block is called Goshen Star - very fun to put together.

KeQuilts, love your block! Actually that is the block I was going to make next. It's so pretty. What do you think? Is it okay to do the same block with different fabrics?

I am reasonably sure noone will throw a fit if we somehow recieve two beautiful blocks...

Absolutely - sew away!! I like this block so much, I'd love to use it for a whole quilt. I think it's the kind of block that would alternate well with an Irish Chain or the like.

Hi Jaba - I found the block pattern here
http://www.quilterscache.com/BlocksbySizeB.html

The site is free, but you can opt to make a donation of any size if you print patterns, etc. This link is to the 7-11" blocks. I found the instructions to be very accurate, and there are also a fair amount of paper pieced blocks that have printable foundation sheets.

Tracibug - thanks so much for posting the pictures for me! Hope to get them headed your way in the next day or so. Have to get them labeled and to the post office.

If blocks are paper pieced,do you leave the paper on? Most swaps do because it's easier to sew blocks together before removing paper.Sorry if this has been asked before.
