charlottemarie, you are so right, I'm sorry, I even have you marked on my sheet as received. Just didn't see it the 1st time I guess. granny smith apples, sorry I posted that and very glad you let me know again sorry for my error.
oldcatlady mine has done the same thing. Doesn't shut the site down, just pops up and says it has twarted a virus on my computer, think that's the word it uses, anyway stops it dead and that's all I care about. Seems like it's just on 1 place here on the board, but I can't remember where now. I must not regularly go there and think maybe I was just looking at what was new or pics maybe. Guess I'll take note the next time it happens.

Do y'all have AdBlock Plus installed? It's free, and is available for Chrome and Firefox (not sure about Internet Explorer). It blocks all the ads, and helps keep stuff like that from happening. You can find it by doing a Google search. I also recommend a good anti-virus program (I use Avast's free version), and blocking third-party cookies in your web browser. Works for me. :)

i want to make a comment on breast cancer. my family was hit hard by this disease. it started in 1977 at christmas when my 28 yr old sister found a lump while in the shower. she had a mastectomy, chemo and radiation, and 3 more surgeries. she died feb. 18, 1979. she was 30. her name is Hope. and every time i see a fabric, sign or other bc awareness product, her name is on it. because hope found her cancer and it was unusual, my sister and i were put on alert. in 1985 i had double mastectomies. i had just turned 34. my children were 3 and 5. my oldest sister had double mastectomies 15 yrs ago, and my mom had a single radical mastectomy. we joked that she was the keeper of the family boob. the only real one left. breasts are an important part of our identity as women, but they are NOT worth dieing for. because my sister, hope, developed breast cancer the rest of us were able to live. i tell our story because that gives purpose to my being here and not dead of the disease. caught early bc has a very low mortality rate. mammograms and self-exams can save your life and those of women, and men, who you love.

Nancia such a tragedy yet here you are not only alive but a wonderful spokesperson for breast cancer. WAKE UP is probably what you want to say to everyone. me too. My family has not had to cross that path but we have our own things that seem to be family oriented. Pay attention its easier than you think. I am glad that your hear with us to share your sorrows and your joys. boobs, well over rated if it means saving your life. This living, its a good thing.

ok I was going to ask everyone do you ever get the message Do you want to continue running script on this page? continuing to do so may cause your computer to become unresponsive.. it says its a windows message and also it has a yes stop running box or a no box.. I always say fine but with each page change I get that message again.

I am going to do Linda58s block today anyone have any of hers in their album I can do a sneak peak? she doesnt seem to have an album of receivables.. darn it! I love her fabric and want to hijack it.. wonder if she would notice if I sent say snoopy Christmas instead of her holiday flourish? I want a quilt out of that stuff.. big time. that is why I keep asking are all booms the same do we get to pick our own color theme or is it say different like this one is houses or all stars or you know what I am saying?? I have a question on f8th and fqters....do you all wash all those small pieces prior to block making and if so how do you do it without the raveling and entanglement of them all...I have been, but it is a pain in the butt...

The F8's you receive are supposed to have already been washed by the sender. You don't have to re-wash them. Just make sure the fabric you put with them has been washed. You wouldn't want it to shrink or fade after the block has been finished. :)

Elisabrat,

I would love to have an album, first of all, I haven't been able to upload pictures since the website changed. If I try to upload nothing happens. I have tried, and left it sit for up to 2 hours and it still will not up load. Second, I don't know how to make an album, so there ya go!! It may have something to do with the fact that I use my phone for internet service and I am out in the boonies in ND since June. I thought I would be back in Texas this month, but because I am having some major health issues, I have to stay here till my doctors say it is OK to head home.

My fabric is from Robert Kaufman :-)

I finally finished piecing my quilt from Boom 6. Not sure if anyone ever looks at that link anymore but some of you are in this swap so Im going to post it here. I was going to give it to my sister in law for Christmas but it looked so good on my bed Im having a hard time making myself get it quilted to give her! LOL..I want to keep it! I love the web site "thousandsofbolts.com" for fabric. Ive never gotten a bad piece from them and a lot of their prices are $5 and under for Windham, Kauffman, Moda etc.
