Closed- Summer MerryGoRound Block Swap
 

Summer block swap open April 1, closes June 1 and blocks due by June 30. Below is the link for the swap, complete with directions for making the block. This block just says *SUMMER FUN* to me. Usual swap rules apply as posted in the Member Swaps forum. Background may be color of your choice. Blades may be in 1930's fabric, or brights, hues of the same color palate, opposites....whatever you desire. Since this block may take you out of your comfort zone (we all need to challenge our skills!), I would suggest that you make a sample block before you commit to the swap. This is my practice block. I don't have enough of this fabric to make 11 more. If you just follow all the pictures it comes out right. If I can do it so can you. So sign up now and lets have some fun!

Deb, do you have any idea as to the fabric requirements for the 12 blocks? Don't want to come up short. Thanks.

Karen, on the link posted, it gives the amount of fabric for each block. I guess the best way would be to just multiply it by 12.....let me go to the link and see if I can get an estimate. Now, Linda says she can't open the link. Is anyone else having rouble with this?
