Very pretty.
It's great to see one completed. Sadly-mine hasn't made it home yet.
Thanks for sharing!

mountain-moma 10-10-2009 08:37 AM

Wow that is so pretty Thanks for sharing

JANW 10-11-2009 08:18 AM

Thanks, and I hope we will see all the completed quilts soon. It's the icing on the cake to see what the owner does to the quillt. Even though I didn't get the 6th round I really like the size. Quilting Turtle had the misfortune of a sewing machine breakdown at the end and hopefully she will get that solved and complete her quilt. Will try to bump this till everyone has a chance to bookmark it for their posting

Thanks and a big thank you to all that made a round.

sandpat 10-21-2009 04:34 PM

Beautiful Jan! Unfortunately mine are both still sitting in sacks all nicely folded up and waiting for me to "think" about what exactly I want to do with them. They get petted often though, so they aren't lonely

tuesy 10-21-2009 04:36 PM

Beautiful quilt!! The colors look beautiful!!

JANW 10-21-2009 06:30 PM

Thank you both and I'm so anxious to see everyone elses quilts. It feels so good to see it done. I'm finishing my christmas row robin now. Down to the binding.

WOW! I have a wedding quilt to finish first-then I'll do my Christmas row top. My other round robin is still out there and hasn't made it back home yet. Wondering if it ever will...... :( When I get some pics to post, I'll make sure to do so. Thanks for sharing your's :D

sandpat 10-22-2009 05:20 AM

2Doods...who has your top now?

mary quite contrary 10-22-2009 06:12 AM

Just as an FYI. I still have Elle's. I am still working on AkAngel's. I am almost done with it. I'm hoping to mail both of them within the next week. I'll send emails once they are both in the mail.

I am also waiting for one of my tops. I'm not real sure where it is.

That is exciting. Because I joined late I didn't know if you would get to work on mine. I am in no rush so don't stress over it. It will talk to you eventually.

I received my top from group 3. It is here waiting in line to be finished.

sandpat 10-22-2009 03:04 PM

2Doods...it looks like purplemem might have yours..she has been really sick and in the hospital...I'll try to give her a call for you to check and see.

She does have it. She sent a message back when it arrived at her stop. I mailed to her for the holiday row robin and she mailed to me for the round robin.... Had to pay attention to what I was sending so I didn't send the wrong one back.

I am just curious to see what it morphed into.

I have enough UFOs to keep me busy so there isn't any hurry on it-much more important that she is OK :!: {{{{HUGS}}}}

Missi 10-26-2009 07:31 AM

I don't have mine either and I still have one to work on that needs to come my way. I would love for it to arrive next week so I can take it to my retreat the first weekend in November.

Judy Masur should have yours and may have 2 at her house. You have to contact her at the other board

Missi 10-26-2009 08:27 AM

Yes she has both of them. We have been emailing. She said mine is just giving her fits as she can't decide what to do with it. I told her to hang it up and as she was working on the others mine would talk to her. She just needed patience and I was in no big hurry.

sandpat 10-26-2009 03:25 PM

2Doods....I got yours today from Purple....it is unbelievable! I have MJ's plan and her fabric, so I hope to get it done for you pretty quickly. I'll let you know when I have it done......its REALLY pretty!

Thanks for pitching it Sandpat! Very gracious of you :!: No hurry! I have a wedding quilt to finish up and binding on a friend's quilt to do.....I know there are other UFOs lurking in there too, hiding from me.

purplemem 10-27-2009 05:50 PM

Alice,
Patti volunteered to help me finish your quilt. As I am recovering from multiple blood clots in my lungs, I am very happy to receive her help. She has your top now and is working on it even as we speak. The quilt is really beautiful - I hope you are happy with it. I sent it and fabric (and plan) on to her so that you might get it THIS year.

At this time I cannot cut or stand - trying to wean from constant oxygen...
and just exhausted. Limited to walking to the bathroom and back unassisted.

I'm just beginning to get interested in life again, it has been such a struggle for the last 2 months.

I RECEIVED my quilt top yesterday and it is more than beautiful. I am trying to get my husband to hang it so I can photograph and post.

Esqmommy 10-27-2009 08:30 PM

Just checking in on your group - purple, I sure hope you are feeling better soon! If there's anything I can do to help you with this, please feel free to send me a pm...if I lived close by I'd help you with some cooking and cleaning, but...

Take care, and don't push too hard. Just get better!

Butterflyspain 10-28-2009 12:07 AM

Nice to see you back Purplemen and hope your health improves day by day. Glad you have your quilt and you are happy with it. I think all the quilts have turned out beautiful in this IRR.

Look after yourself.

Elle

mary quite contrary 10-28-2009 12:24 PM

Purple, I am so sorry to hear about your hospital stay. I do hope you are improving everyday.

Butterfly & AKAngel, Your quilts are in the mail. It was a sad day here saying good bye to the last of the babies. I think I got more attached to them as they grew.

AkAngel 11-08-2009 06:10 PM

Mary,
I received my quilt top earlier this week and wanted to say thank you to all of you who worked on it, its beautiful!! I'm excited to get a backing fabric and get it to my quilter. I'm hopeing to get it in and back when we come back from Hawaii. We'll be back the 27th, we are going over for our nieces wedding this will be the 1st time for us to go to Hawaii.
Many thanks again,
Muriel

mary quite contrary 11-08-2009 06:32 PM

So glad to hear it made it home safely.

purplemem 11-08-2009 06:44 PM

I am doing much better now. I can walk 25 feet unassisted. I can get dressed and shower by myself. I sewed a block this week! (the froggie on the FARM thread).

I received my wonderful, beautiful IRR quilt and took it to a long arm quilter here in town. She will have it completed before Christmas and I will post it then.

My Holiday Row Robin quilt is here and waiting on its last row. I have finished all but 2 blocks, I think I'll move it to the front burner this week. I am well enough now that my husband is allowed to return to work this week. (before I could not be left alone that long.)

I will be checking in with you. Thank you for your prayers and warm wishes, they mean the world to me.

Love,
MJ

mary quite contrary 11-08-2009 06:47 PM
