Will all 4 mug rugs go to the same person, or to 4 different people?

Just trying to get an idea as to the postage costs before officially signing up. Thanks. :)

Mamaskeeto 03-08-2012 06:52 AM

I've been waiting for another mug rug swap but have to see if I can fit it in. I've over the top with projects and swaps right now. I've got a few day to think about it. ugh!

SewExtremeSeams 03-08-2012 08:52 AM

Thinking about joining. Will let you know real soon! :)

JenGaile 03-08-2012 09:47 AM

So, when you say round.....is that a strict requirement. Can it be hexagon, egg shaped, oval, etc?

quilts24 03-08-2012 11:42 AM

would this be a a good swap for a beginner?

linmid 03-08-2012 06:28 PM

Help! How do you pm. I would love to join.

abdconsultant 03-08-2012 07:20 PM
So, when you say round.....is that a strict requirement.

Round is the only strict requirement. You can do a hexie or oval inside the round.

absolutely.

Moonrise, this was my thought also. I have some blocks that were demo'd at my Guild, but that I never went any futher with -- they might work for this.

i won't say that's cheating, lol, but now i see how you get yours done so quickly! hahahaha! i always start from scratch! i'm going to have to work smarter, not harder! thanks for the good idea!! (oops, i don't have any orphan blocks. dang it!)

abdconsultant 03-09-2012 04:34 AM

Donna H-M 03-09-2012 06:35 AM

Sending PM, looks like another fun swap :)

dixie_fried 03-09-2012 08:00 AM

Here is my newbie question: Do we wait until we're matched with our swap partner and see what their tastes are, or can we make all the creative choices and just hope they like them?
I ask because I had what I think is a neat idea about what I will do with the four circles I'm making...wanted to get started before the creative juices dry up.

QuilterMomma 03-09-2012 08:39 AM

Did someone say no orphan blocks, I am almost ready to make a quilt with all mine. The defect ones that just seem to go someplace. This swap may give me an opportunity to use my new circle ruler that is still in wrapper from Christmas.

Lillie 03-09-2012 10:55 AM

I think this will be fun. Just pm you my info.

Start now working on whatever you want, this is an opportunity to do something you want to try, make sure they are all 4 different in color and design. Have fun!

I finished up while my tot is napping.
I won't be disappointed to keep this one (couldn't get my tension right) and make a few extras--they are fun!

Thanks for the ideas, I'm joining in ....

Momma_K 03-11-2012 05:23 AM

Love the pictures on rugs. I NEED rugs and would love to make them...IF I see I'll have time I may just join in....!! And in fact if any international members join I wouldn't mind trading with them. Something different I think, ha! Then I can say it was an import! Ha!

Well, nothing like a little zig zag chenille to make it the correct size.
