March Fat Quarter Swap : SPRING FLOWERS optional Easter sign ups close March 2nd.

Spring Flowers with the option of Easter included. (IF you do not want Easter please let me know and I will TRY to match you accordingly)

READ ALL THE RULES NEW NOTES THIS MONTH:

Description: This will be a monthly swap. You will sign up each month and you can choose each month whether or not to participate. You will be given a random person to swap with and that person will change each month. This is a secret pal swap meaning you will have a secret swap with another person who has signed up.

Each month there will be a different theme or color that we will swap. There is a limit of two swaps per person.
**Each person will swap 5 fat quarters that go with the theme or color of the month.
**FQ's can be purchased or can be from your stash but they must be 100% cotton and they must measure 18 x 22 inches (standard FQ).
**They should be 5 DIFFERENT FQ's. but coordinating fabrics are never a bad choice!

March is a spring flower swap. You are to pick fat quarters with Spring Flowers! I am asking that at least 3 fabrics be spring flowers and a maximum of 2 blenders/tone on tones to go with them. I would gladly work with you as best I can to pair you with someone who would rather have Easter if you would only like to send Easter or receive Easter. I can not guarantee that I will have enough people to pair your special request with so please know this upfront.

I don't want any hurt feelings or sad people because they did not receive but they were good enough to send. If there is trouble this month I will go to partners next month. It would be tons easier for me so if you want to keep this a secret pal type of swap then please be responsible.


Participants are required to PM me when they have received their FQ's and are required to post a PM thanking the sender. You don't need to let me know you have mailed.


*When you send your FQ's please be sure to include your board/screen name so that people know whom to thank.

If you would like to participate please PM me with: your board name, full name and address and the number of sets you would like to do. Two set limit.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST: Sign ups close for the March Fat Quarter Swap on Sunday March 2nd at 5p.m.

NAMES WILL BE GIVEN BY March 3rd noon.

MAILING DATE: YOU MUST MAIL by MARCH 7th. NO LATE EXCUSES WILL BE ACCEPTED THIS TIME UNLESS THERE IS A MAJOR FAMILY EMERGENCY. Save your postage money up now! people are getting hurt feelings by these late mailings, worries they will not receive from their partner and this is absolutely not fair. Pick your fabrics before sign ups close, have them ready to mail in a preaddressed envelope and you will be set to go to make that mailing date. I will have to leave late mailing feedback if these late mailings do not stop.

Ok let the games begin! think tulips! crocus! daffodils! azalea! rhododendrons! pink! yellow! purple flowers! lilacs! and oh oh how about cherry blossoms?? wouldn't those look lovely all lined up on your table begging you to use them for some marvelous spring project? who hates spring flowers? not the sane ones!!! I cant wait for this month it will be marvelously fun. So send me your mailing information and also how many swaps you would like to participate in. I am ready to start the list! Easter fabrics are fine also but make sure you let me know that is what your sending and if you want to receive Easter. Some won't so I need to know that .. can't guarantee I can set you up with the perfect swap but I will really try :)

Will have to go through fabrics to see if I have any flower fabric, otherwise will have to go shopping, that's sad. lol This will be fun to see all the pretty fabrics, can't wait to see the pictures!!!

thanks for all the quick sign ups! wowsa!!! I think its amazing how many florals we do have.. even those who are not so flowery :) I would have sworn I did not have nearly enough to swap.. amazingly enough I was seriously wrong :) I guess I love flowers a lot more than I thought! ok I love flowers just never have quiet the right project I think because where on earth did all that yardage come from! lol. magic! it showed up magically!
