Is my theme and just to let you know they do not have to be exactly the same as this quilt just ideal of what I'm looking for, so with that said, any one else want to do a extra swap?, I still need more blocks...

OHHHHH I just love the angel, I hope it's all mine!!!! LOL
Also would you mind sharing the snowman pattern I'm on a Christmas/Holiday swap and would love to try to make one of those....

And thanks....

I didn't use a pattern for the snowman, I can tell yah how I did it! LOL I started building the snowman face by tracing one of my small saucer's (probably the only time I use them, we drink from mugs) LOL Then I lopt off the top & bottom to make them straight. I then attached a piece of blue fabric on both sides sewing on the curves or this could also be done by applique, then I used strips to build the hat w/band. The center block measures 6x6 I think. then i just kept adding strips till it was the size I wanted. The eyes are buttons, the mouth is just stitching, the nose is a triangle which i should have made orange. Thats what I did. Hope that helps you!

What category is the pattern under? I took a quick look, but did not see it. Don't want to commit until I see the pattern. :) Also, how old will the little girl be?

It's under childrens designs -- and she's going to be 8

Ok, I am willing to do one. I will p.m. you my address. My theme is any teal block with white on white. Do you want the block to be 12.5 square or do you want it 12.5 x 10.5 like the pattern shows? Also, do you want a particular color for the background?

Donna, i'd be glad to make you a cuple of primatives..in exchange for the airplanes or ponies from fat cats.thanks, Are your blks 12.5, any preferred colors??? molly

shnnn 08-07-2011 04:26 PM

I think 12.5" would keep it more simple. And any colors are fine! Thanks so much!
