She showed me that you wrap the thread close to the end nearest the fabric, poke needle down where you want the knot to be, hold the thread taunt where the wraps are, then put the needle back into the fabric, then pull thru holding onto the thread closes to the wraps and tada, here it is. takes some concentration on my part but is working for me.

QuilterMomma, I like the embroidered block. I have always enjoyed embroidery. I am learning to improve with it too.

I think I have a theme for my blocks, if I don't change my mind. Think animals, but not kitties. :) Well, at least it's some progress, but I am going at this slowly.
