WOW, is that all it is Dreamer?! I have been so busy that I really haven't given it too much thought. And my secret santa box is sitting on my vanity looking at me every day. Truly, I have been so busy I don't have too much time to ponder on it. It's a nice little box. It's been sitting there patiently waiting for me to open it. I wonder, did I thank my secret santa? Secret Santa, thank for the lovely box you sent. It has been very good. It's not trying to entice me to be a bad girl. That being said, I am off the next 3 days. So, hmm.....
My secret giftee posted awhile back that she received her box. :) She also posted a very nice thank you. :) But, I'm not saying when or who!!!! Thank you Dreamer for all the great christmas songs. I am getting into the christmas spirit. I want to make cutout cookies this week. :) I love to decorate them. I see quite a few of you received your boxes right after Thanksgiving. I sincerely hope the mailman make a bunch of deliveries this week. See you guys soon.:) |

A sad ending to the greatest Thanksgiving I have had in years..took my daughter to the airport to go back to Texas..will miss her horribly..Friday my other daughter went back to college near the Alabama line..She will be missed, but will be back in 2 weeks when the semester ends...I really hate them growing up and leaving home!! Only have 2 left home full time...7 on their own, but most live fairly close..
I am so excited about this swap!! I can't wait for opening day, but will miss the banter and fun here!! |
i know what you mean, pat. i have 2 in texas and 1 in london. only the dogs and cats stay home! i would love to go back to the cuddling stage with them. BUT, the big news is....london boy will fly in on dec. 25!!!! yay!!YAY!!!

Aww ladies, I know exactly how you feel. My 23 year old son lives in FL with his father. And my daughter lives in NC with her hubby and my new grandbaby. I'm 12 hours away from both of them. :( I am glad they are independent. But, I sure do miss them!!
