8 pm est is the same in nyc as pennsylvania. my son is in london and that is 5 hrs in front of us, so 1 am.monday. then it gets worse the farther east you go . i'm glad teri has to figure this out and not ME! someone will be up late! maybe that's why she chose 3pm last year. i doubt there is a good time for everyone. good luck, teri!!

Last year we had it in the afternoon EST so that those who had church services could be home for opening. Those across the big pond either stayed up late, got up early, or opened early/late and then posted after the fact.
It really doesn't matter to me what time Opening Time is....it's up to YOU ladies to figure that out.

My hubby would love to have that flat screen....but he will have to deal with the one he has...maybe next Christmas...
