As far as being exactly the same in each group, you can do them as close as possible if you like, but if you run short of a certain color, don't sweat it. Just use a different fabric. No quilt police here.;)

Just read through this again and am a little puzzled, you said finished block should measure 12 1/2" so blocks need to be 13"unfinished? or did you mean 12 1/2" unfinished which when sewed together would be 12" finished blocks? Just want to make sure.....

Perfect. thanks for the heads-up,,,,,and while I was waiting for your answer, I realized I had some more fall fabric and hadn't done anything in purple, which is my favorite color, so update me to 4 sets.
