Finaly sorting my scraps into colors. What do I do with the ones with busy prints? Some do not seem to fall in one color group.

I am up for a swap of smaller items like you suggested. I would love a spring mug rug or a small table mat and am willing to make one too. scrappy of course or even a block say 12.5 inch block. spring colors

I'd make a table mat or a scrappy spring block.

Elisabrat, I have 12 1/2" spring blocks I will trade with you if you want to.

Rhonda, when you did the braid quilt, how wide were your stips?

I just knew I would get goldendog 55 for a swap partner. Yippee!

I can't find the rules for this scrap swap. Can somebody show me where they are.

I was responding to the thread it general, but I would be up for a swap too. It depends on the time frame. I just got a new maching and learning to use it.

Judy-68 there are no rules, you can just follow, you can sign up to swap scraps or to follow along on Rhonda's quilt along with scraps, you can make comments and post pictures. Hope this helps.

So, do we just contact our swap partner and decide on the swap between ourselves?

I would just keep them separate. They can be hard to use as a "color" I've found. You might call them your focus fabrics box. That'll help you think about how to use them effectively also.
