thought those of you with too many scrap strips might want this pattern I love it. could certainly use it on my own sofa and it would be a 100 percent improvement.

This is a little candle mat I gave my cousin as a thank you gift for an overnight visit. I had the 9P's already sewn so just set it as one 9P on point; added a border; quick MQ'd it. Little 9's measure 1 1/2". Easy to find scraps for the setting squares; triangles; and border. Had to cut a special piece for the binding!

oksewglad it looks adorable with the dollhouse chair. I wouldn't want to put a candle on it for fear the wax would ruin it.

You know I admire your work G and it always catches my eye to see how you treat your little treasures in terms of borders and settings. tho we do the same scale and sort of things it is really fun to see how we think differently.
I tend to get set into a rut. You make me look at my work differently sometimes.

I love love to see what you have been doing!!

Cute little matt.
i recd my scrappy gift from foxflower today.
it was a crazy quilt holder for scissors and cutters. Its so pretty, adorned with ribbon flowers. Also i recd a silver pencil andclear thread. Ive been wondering about that clear thread, now i can try it. I do alot of quilting on dark fabric, so the pen will come in handy too. I live the case. Thank you again

Thanks all on the candle mat. Rhonda you make me blush!! I have several little 4P and 9P blocks done so I can just grab a few to complement a layout and get a quickie done.
