Sounds like fun.
Welcome to the Quilting Board!
I so badly want to be part of this swap but the last swap I signed up for over a year ago ended with me never receiving my quilt top back. I have not signed up for any swaps since then so I hope that all who sign up really stick with their commitments when they sign up for this amazing swap.
Tam Moo, I'm very sorry that happened to you. If you sign up for this swap, and your partner let's you down by not sending you a quilt I PROMISE you I will send you one. It may not be by the dead line (you won't know til then) but it won't be too long afterwards. Girl scout honor.Originally Posted by Tam...Moo
im going to join up this sounds like alot off fun hopfully everything will work out and nobodys quilts will get misplaced
For $.70 you can have a tracking number attached to your package, that allows the receiver and sender to keep track of the package. I use it all the time. Get it at the post office. Cheap peace of mind. :thumbup:Originally Posted by lindy-2
By now, each of those who have signed up so far should have received a PM from me with the name of their swap partner. If you've signed up and haven't received such a PM from me, contact me.
Although I've paired people up, new participants are still welcome to sign up until December 15, 2011.
AND folks: I really want this to be a lot of fun.
If you feel I've made an incompatible match, please let me know and I'll find you someone else.
And if you have any concerns, questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thanks for your work on this, jillaine.

And because there's been a question about it, the dates of the swap have NOT changed:
The swap remains open to new participants until 15 Dec 2011; fully completed quilts must be sent to your partner by 15 July 2012.
We have so far, 28 participants.
Thank you so much for your hard work!
