Join the Quilts for Quilters group under community and your partner should be there if your partner hasn't contacted you yet.

Hey!! Quiltermomma, yes I have been busy, like that. Today I also made 8 tissue holders that some members posted about a week ago. They are so habit forming you can't stop. So fast & EASY.
Well, have to say good bye, Have a great evening.

I guess I am bored here at work. Have some to do, but having trouble focusing on work today, must be tired from sitting in hospital. Jigs1354, your partner is painiacs in case you needed to know. Was just checking to be sure I gave correct information. How cool to do tissue holders. I have not tracked those threads like I used to. I get excited to do them then get off track of what needs to be done. That is why i am here in December trying to finish a couple of quilts. Good thing I have all customer quilts done so can do mine. So let's see if we attract some new swappers. In the meantime, if anyone here is willing to take on a second partner who lives in the UK, please send me a PM. Thanks.

If you have an odd number, I'll be in. I hesitated because of all the other things I want to do in 2012, but a 60x60 isn't that much trouble. I'll be sending a pm shortly and you can let me know if my number is needed.

The swap is closing to new applicants today. For those of you who most recently joined and haven't been paired yet, please be patient; I'm on a business trip. Will finish matching partners this weekend.

Hi quiltermomma, What!!! sitting in the hospital that can't be fun. I didn't know that sweetie that's rough. Well, my tissue holders are coming along just fine. They are really fast and pretty. If I get things cut & ready to go, so I can just sit & sew that makes it seem like I'm going faster, lol!! The thing I dislike the most is cutting blocks out, backings too, borders aren' t so bad though because I always end up with more than I need and they usually get used up on something. I keep a rod down in my sewing room in the basement with border extra's on it or excess bindings I've cut. That really helps me because when I do cut, I'm like that energy bunny I just keep on going. I do the same things washing fabrics, I wash a bunch then when that batch is done they go on a "washed" shelf so I know those are ready to use. You know, some days you DON"T feel like sewing but I try to do something just to make
me feel better about not wanting to sew that day. Some days I quilt all day, like on Painiacs lap quilt.
Then yesterday just made tissue holders.
We are a funny bunch us quilters aren't we,lol.
What are you working on now?
I have a long arm too but didn't go into business as planned with it.
Well, friend must get busy here it's 12:30 pm and something is calling me to get busy.
Take care,
HUGS!!

Folks, if you haven't done so yet, please go to

http://www.quiltingboard.com/groups/...1-2012-g8.html

and join the group there; we'll use that space for sharing updates and photos and such.

Let me know if you have any problems using it. It's similar to the message boards, but has a separate place for posting photos (ala Facebook) so we an see all the photos for the swap in one place. I'll also be posting the updated "map" there, as well.

All but two of the 62 (count 'em!) participants are partnered. I'm working on finding people for the last two right now.

GWYN, are you reading this? Your mailbox is full; I tried to send you an invite reminder to the Q4Q group. No success! Please empty your PM inbox, etc. Thanks!

Everyone else: I uploaded a new map to the photo area of the Group. Check it out.

By the way, a couple of you (IslandWiz1, Tam...Moo) did not include your geographical location, so you're not represented on the map. If you want to change that, PM me your city/state. Thanks.
