Both methods have their pros & cons ... but, I'm flexible. I think perhaps the leader(s) should have the final say as to which way we should embark . Looks like we should put on our thinking caps as to "themes" . . . the fun will be narrowing it down to one theme or even have a "sampler" quilt - have everyone make their favorite quilt block or theme. Just a thought . . .

Is it possible to send all our finished rows to our leader at a specified time with return postage included. that would mean only two mailings - one to leader and one back to us. Of course that would mean we will have to wait until the end. But at least we wouldn't loose an entire quilt. If someone doesn't come thru - they don't get the rows made for them. Similar to the Boomerangs now - I love watching each block being added to the gallery. With posting of each row we can all see the quilt come together which will give us ideas on how to continue.
Will we each make our own row first?
Will we each make our own row first?

Mailing our partners a color swatch would be good too and would only cost a little bit to add that step.
Saving over $40 in postage sounds great to me.
Waiting to see what the rules will be before I throw my hat officially into the ring.

This is what I was trying to say earlier, lol.

I would also like to add it would make sense to send to the organizer when it is a block swap and your doing so many of the exact same thing but these are all completely different and over a MUCH longer period of time. So now you are expecting people to keep rows for months at a time and not loose them or have something else happen to them.
