We walked across the street into the outskirts of the city, but again, not a really nice and clean place to be. I did enough damage to my wallet in a few hours to satisfy me. Ship only stayed there for only about 7 hours.

It was great to get away from everything - no phones, tv,barking dogs to let out/in, etc. It's also great to be waited on so much. I went with a bunch of girl friends. DH would never enjoy something like that -- he's too active, and I was perfectly content to sit in sun and read.
Sounds like you had a great time! Welcome back:)

Ok Ladies,

I am ready to mail....I have my row, my label, extra block and journal. I will mail extra brown fabric for the sashings (uncut), that way you can cut to your measurement to make your row fit to my row. The extra to be mailed back with the finished quilt.

So, I would like for my row to be in the middle (that is why I signed on line 3. If you would be so kind as to sign your name on the line of your row...

If anyone would like for me to send extra cash for the cost of shipping, I will gladly do that...just let me know.

Looking for to receiving TF Quilters row.

Thanks so much for the pictures of your row, label, etc. It gives me a better idea of what to do for my label. Somehow seeing a picture is better than all the words.

Wish I was an experiences machine embroiderer.............

So pretty!

Pam.....I LOVE your EVERYTHING!! It all looks SOO beautiful!
I think we may have some confusion about the extra block though. The extra blocks are for like a "personality" block or something. So you add an extra block for EACH row that you send forward. For example, when I get Sue's row, here is everything I will do:
1. I will make a row and attach it along with any sashing if needed.
2. I will take a picture of me working on her row or something and add it along with notes to the journal that she sends with her row.
3. I will sign her label "Gail D 'Qbee'" on the appropriate spot depending on where my row is positioned.
4. I will make an EXTRA block using some of the fabrics I used to make her row adding my "touch" to it. Like I might put a big Bumble bee for "Qbee" or sign it or whatever.
5. I will then send all of it forward to the next person who will do the same.
So is that about as clear as mud...LOL! So you make an extra block for everyone. I think most of us are going to use them as a row on the back of our quilts. Now....since Pam has already done one extra block using the fabric from her own row....we could just go with that instead of using fabric from the row we are making?? I kinda like it now that I see it. It is totally up to ya'll.
Again Pam, BEAUTIFUL work!!!

Gail, thanks for the info..I did the same thing as Pam...I made an extra block for myself, but I still want everyone else, who works on my row, to make an extra block. Then I will have 5 blocks as a memory row, including my own block. I hope this is okay. I have all my stuff ready to be sent tomorrow to Pam.. my row, journal, pictures, extra block, sashing for between the rows and label for signatures. I guess that's about it. Looking forward to receiving your row! :)
