We had a snow storm come in the morning, dumped about two inches, and gone by afternoon. Today we have some sunshine which feels so good. I am loving it to the max!!!!!!! I am so ready for spring. I am tempted to plant the bulbs I did not get to last fall right now and pray they come up this year. Love bulbs, they are easy to maintain. The only bad part would be that I won't be able to till the mound and keep up on the weeds. Maybe one of those flower bed rugs would be a good idea.

So how are the rows coming along ladies?

No problems, Yvonne! I'll just enjoy my So Cal weather - - - - lol. A bit chilly at night but I just add another quilt & all is well.

Not sure which is the worse part of a move; the actual moving or all the packing & un-packing. I'm now up to my eyeballs in boxes!!!

The good news is I get to re-organize my sewing room!!! So (sew) excited!!! I previously had a make-shift space which was okay but not ideal. Now I have an actual room!!! Will post pics when I'm finished.

Hope all is well with my fellow Perfect Tens. I'm @ Panera using their wi-fi (and having dinner) b/c my internet isn't set up yet. Oh, the trials and tribulations of moving. . . . .

Back to the boxes. . . .

Oh, I SO know what you're talking about Jane. Where on earth did you find boxes??? Tried to downsize a while back and went to the Box Shop to buy 3 boxes to take books to the Half Price store and other things to the Habitat Restore. It's impossible to get boxes from the stores anymore at least around here as they now break them down immediately and then resell the used cardboard. At any rate those 3 medium sized boxes cost me $30.00!!!! I about fell over. Yes, packing and unpacking is no fun! But if I were there I'd be happy to help out anyway. Do hope you enjoy your new abode! By the by today was rainy, cool, windy and cloudy so I helped myself to a cup of hot mint chocolate and a good book!!!...BUT, snow is in the forecast for tomorrow and Thursday... Do you have Daylight Savings Time in California? Spring starts here March 20th.

Very, very pretty blocks Sherry!!! Isn't it cool the way they all come together? Can't wait to see all the completed projects.

Sorry QuilterMomma - those blocks have my name on them. Wonnie, yes, moving is a pain in the a** but all in all, it was the right thing to do. Honestly, I got most of my boxes from work. Working at a hospital has it's advantages. . . besides those, I went to Home Depot. They have AWESOME boxes at very good prices; better than U-Hauls' prices.

Now that I'm getting settled, I'm putting Marys' rows up on my wall; have ideas in mind but had to wait til after my move. I have some of that 'measuring tape' fabric in yellow. You used some (in red) in the center of one of your blocks. I was going to use some but you said you don't care so much for yellow. . .

Will post pics before I send my rows along - - -
