Everyone has checked in at least once. I think most of us are working on our rows. We are still missing one address, but I'm sure it will show up in time. I'm anxious to get someone's row and get started!

OK, I believe all four of you should have the address of the person you will sending rows to now. I still need a town from Roda. For some reason I have a PO Box and a state but no town.

I hope everyone is working on their row or at least getting good ideas. There is still plenty of time on the deadline, but I'm getting excited. I hope someone posts a picture soon!

Ok I will post a picture. I kept the theme i was thinking of using. Home(s) This is all I have done so far. I have never designed a block so its not great but it's mine and I am not worried that someone else wont like it. I hope to get better by the time I might have to do somones block.
Happy Sewing

Great block, Pat. I've been thinking of ideas for "homes". I've got a few if no one steals them before your quilt gets to me.

I like that block! When you are saying "homes", do you mean people homes? Or bird houses? Or does the inhabitant matter?

So for themes I think we have

Lisa - black, white, grey traditional blocks -- any style, any combo that fills up your row
I love Sun Bonnet Sues, embroider (think redwork only grey or black maybe), Dresden plates of
all sizes, pretty much every sampler block I've ever seen. I'm easy. In fact, I'm so easy I won't
even know if it's not technically "traditonal". Stick to the colors, fill up the row and I'm a happy
camper. Try out something you have been meaning to do.

Pat - homes of any kind -- people, animal

Roda -- "Yes, I'm a Diva!" in blacks, white and lavendar (My diva daughter has LOTS of ideas for this!)

MamaHauser -- ??

Jude -- maybe Asian but still thinking

I have a row finished but needed to do practice blocks for another quilt so I'm doing them in my colors, too. If I like both rows, I'll pick one to send and save the other to add on the the quilt when it comes back home. It'll just be longer than originally planned.

I was considering sending along a zip lock bag of scraps anyone could use to add to their fabric when they work on my row. You would in no way be obligated to use them, but if you just needed a little piece you wouldn't have to go shopping. What do you all think? It would make the box a bit heavier so if the group doesn't like the idea, I can skip it. Just want to make this as easy and fun as possible for everyone.

GD explained it as high heel shoes, fancy purses, crowns or you can do blocks in black, white(she wants pure white) and purples. Her room is zebra print and lavender
