Maria's theme- Vibrant color with lots of movement with base fabric in Kaffe Fassett. I've only done one Kaffe quilt and it was a mysters. Had no idea how it would turn out but, I love it. It lives in my guest bedroom. Now I'd like one for me. I love pinks, reds, greens..... Don't particularly like matchy matchy so I integrate batiks with the Kaffe. I don't want to box anyone in on my rows... use your imagination and best judgement. I will love and treasure it.

Ah, all is good for Group 6 - everyone has 'signed on' so to say.

So, what have you all been up to? I have been playing with a little 18" x24" 12-block applique sampler a quilting friend, unknowingly and innocently, sent my way by way of a link to another project she was asking input on. Right, you've all been there, right? Please tell me you get railroaded once in a while; it will make me feel less uncommitted.

Sooooo, I've been a bit distracted from working, or even thinking, about my row. And I need to pump out two blocks for my October partner over on the Quilting Bee Block of the Month swap. But no fear ladies, dh is off to camp for a few days and I plan on spending my time between tucking the gardens to bed for winter and the sewing room :-) Yes sa! :-) Fun for me. And time to commit to locking in what my theme for the Row by Row will be.

This wouldn't be a problem you see if there just weren't so many options :-) ;-)

best,
d

Whigrose I'm with you. Need to do my Oct swap blocks, my Sept BOM PP block, sandwich, quilt and bind Princess Inas's castles. My row is just going to have to wait until after we relocate to Florida.

Hi everyone,
Anyone started their row yet? Thinking about starting your row? Anyone have photos yet they are willing to share with the group?

Our line-up is:
Whigrose
Krisb
Mistymarie
Mhobbs
Charlottemarie

When the time comes to mail your first row you will be sending it to the person on the list that immediately follows your name. You may either PM that person or me for the mailing address.

When you do send off your first row, please email both the person you are sending it to and myself to let us know.

First rows are due in the mail by Saturday, December 1.

Thanks everyone. Have fun.

best,
d

Tomorrow is my start day. I hope I can do it with no interruptions, but you know how that goes.

Checking in on everyone to see how your rows are coming along. The deadline is December 1st- slightly more than three weeks away.

Anyone completed their row yet? If you are and would like to send it on, pm the person after your name on the following list and ask them if they are ready to accept it or would they prefer to wait until Dec. 1

Our line-up is:
Whigrose
Krisb
Mistymarie
Mhobbs
Charlottemarie

I'm working on a row right now but it will be for the group I'm in. My plans are to start my row for this group either tomorrow or Saturday.

Kris B- would you like my row early or do you prefer to wait for the deadline?

Remember ladies, when you send your row onward, pm the person and me. I need to know where all they rows at all times.

Thanks and have fun.

best,
d

Had to take a break to tile a backsplash and lay flooring in the kitchen, dining room and hallway, but that will be done by Thanksgiving and then it will be the great quilting marathon.

Please do not send a row to me until Dec. 1. I will not be ready early, lots of company for the holidays.
