Hi all - I just managed to ruin a needlcase. Please pray that 5th time will be the charm. From now on, no matter what anyone says, I make something to see how hard it is before I sign up! There will be some extra purchased goodies with my needlecases to make up for being so late. I'm packing the pincushions up now and mom will take them to the PO tomorrow while I work. Dad had a very bad day, has a white count of about 800, and we can't even touch him for a week and he can't go out. It is going to get interesting around here!

I have not heard anything from my needlecase partner, so now I am
worrying that she did not like what I made her.
I KNOW it was delivered because I got the delivery confirmation email
for it.
I hope she is ok as I have not seen her post in several days (if not a week or more).
OFF TOPIC message
THANK YOU!!!! to everyone who has sent me a pm or posted their prayers and
sympathies.
We are all doing good and remembering the good that mom brought to our lives.
We all have our own special memories, and we ALL agreed that the best memory
of all is moms total dislike for shoes! she always said it was her "Okie" heritage as
why she didn't like wearing shoes (she was born in Oklahoma).
Her memorial service will be on Wednesday, it will be a day more for celebrating her life
and less about grieving her loss. Now if I can just get my heart to agree with that.
Many Quilty HUGS to you all.

Louise, dear, if I am the one you were waiting for, I am finally among the living. I spent the end of last week and the beginning of this in bed with my DJD (degenerative joint disease) and trying not to move.
I got up on Sunday, long enough to open your package, oooh and aaaah with blue cat, and then go back to bed.
Your needlecases were perfect!
I adore both of them. I can't pick a favorite. I will get photos soon--my meds make my hands shake--I think DN is coming tomorrow. I can't imagine why you weren't satisfied with either one.!!!!!!
And all of the Notions!!! Both of them stuffed with notions, that I continually use and loose tiny little seam rippers from Joann, now replaced by a "big red" ripper that will be hard even for me to loose. Needles I could actually see the eye of and 2-yes- 2- needle threaders. Laura had to do all of my handwork this swap (2 swaps for me) because I couldn't seem to thread the needle even with my reading glasses on.
Anyway, that you sew much. They are both terriffic and I just adore them.

What a wonderful day today was when the mail lady came with my box from swap partner and inside were the sweetest carrot pin cushions and some buttons. I always like buttons and have a huge box of them...another story. Anyhow, I do not know her board name but initials are M.H. and she lives in B, WA. So partner ..thanks so much. I may PM Queen just to find out your name so I can properly thank you and give you feedback. I know when you first posted pics of those carrots a while back, I was thinking how much I would love to have a little bunch of them so be careful what you wish for and in this case it was a good thing. I will think of you each time I use them and I especially love the little sparkly beads on them. I untied them for the picture but will tie them back in a bunch to make them look more real. They were worth the wait! Quilty hugs to you!
