DESCRIPTION:
This is a Secret Partner Swap of your choice in cushion, needle case or both. You may sign up for up to two spots in both groups for a total of 4 partners.
There is no theme or color choice to this exchange. All skill level welcomed!

CONSTRUCTION:
1. The cushion/case should be quilted, but does not have to be hand embroidered (although it can be.) It MUST be handmade - not purchased.
2. Both must be made of 100% cotton fabric. Needle case may have wool or felt insert.
3. Embellishments/applique/embroidery are welcome but not required.
4. The size and shape of the pin cushion/needle case is up to the individual creating it, but should not be smaller than 3” x 3”.

SIGN UP:
Sign up begins today and ends Sunday March 31[SUP]st[/SUP], 2013 at 5pm CST. I will begin assigning SP's April 1[SUP]st[/SUP] through April 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] depending on number of participants. Please respond to the thread with a post. Then, copy the information sheet and PM it completed to me. Don't forget to tell me how many spots you want. I will acknowledge receipt of your PM.

DUE DATE:
The deadline for all pin cushions/needle cases to be mailed to your SP is Wednesday, May 1[SUP]st[/SUP], 2013. I understand that life does happen, if for some reason you will not be able to fulfill your obligation, please PM me no later than April 20[SUP]th[/SUP], 2013 so that I can locate an swap angel. If you do not do this I will be forced to report a negative feedback score.

MANNERS:
Please PM me with your tracking number when you ship. Also, PM me when you receive. This is so that I can mark off my spread sheet. Remember to thank your partner, either by a post or a PM for a personal thank you. I would also like to see that you report a feedback score to your SP. Pictures are encouraged, but not required. We all love seeing what everyone is receiving. If you are unable to post a picture, please make sure that you mark that on your information sheet so that your SP can take a picture before shipping it. Please understand that this board has members with differing skill levels and you will not necessarily be swapping with someone at the same level. Let's mind our manners by loving the creation we are sent, whatever the standard of sewing, piecing, quilting. We all started somewhere and the most important our SP made it with you in mind!

I am required to insist that participants send me a monthly PM to verify that they are still active in this swap and are working on their promised project.

I am required to insist that participants notify me as soon as they have finished their quilt and are ready to mail it.

Once I have received notice that both partners are done and ready to mail, I will send both a PM to let them know it’s time to mail.

I am required to insist that all participants send me verification of shipment, to include tracking information.

Participants are required to ensure packages will not arrive “postage due.”

Any and all other fees, such as import duties, taxes, etc imposed by the recipient’s government are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

Absent legitimate and reported mitigating circumstances, participants who have not fulfilled their obligation to ship by May 1st shall be deemed “late” and risk receiving Negative [Swap] Feedback.

Please keep in touch with me as required. Please let me know right away if something happens that will interfere with your ability to complete your project on time.

Swappers should treat each other as friends and focus on the fun. So … please be prepared to be flexible, patient and understanding if necessary and appropriate.

This is a secret exchange. Please put a card in with your pin cushion/needle case so that your SP knows you made it. It is not necessary to send other items such as needles, pins, etc. but you can if you would like.

Juzt pm you. Im in for a pincushion. I love pc's, have a collection from board members. I love making them. Cant wait to start. Im sorry, no camera, so i cant take a photo, but maybe my partner can. Yipee, cant wait for this to get rolling.
