Welcome to the Quilting Board!

Do You Hear What I Hear?Said the night wind to the little lamb
Do you see what I see
Way up in the sky little lamb
Do you see what I see
A star, a star
Dancing in the night
With a tail as big as a kite
With a tail as big as a kite
Said the little lamb to the shepard boy
Do you hear what I hear
Ringing through the sky shepard boy
Do you hear what I hear
A song, a song
High above the tree
With a voice as big as the sea
With a voice as big as the sea
Said the shepard boy to the mighty king
Do you know what I know
In your palace wall mighty king
Do you know what I know
A child, a child
Shivers in the cold
Let us bring him silver and gold
Let us bring him silver and gold
Said the king to the people everywhere
Listen to what I say
Pray for peace people everywhere
Listen to what I say
The child, the child
Sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light
He will bring us goodness and light
The child, the child
Sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light

Up on the House Top.Up on the housetop
Reindeer pause,
Out jumps good old Santa Claus.
Down thru’ the chimney
With lots of toys,
All for the little ones,
Christmas joys.
Ho, ho, ho!
Who wouldn’t go!
Ho, ho, ho!
Who wouldn’t go!
Up on the housetop,
Click, click, click,
Down thru’ the chimney
With good Saint Nick.
First comes the stocking
Of little Nell,
Oh, dear Santa
Fill it well;
Give her a dolly
That laughs and cries
One that will open
And shut her eyes.
Ho, ho, ho!
Who wouldn’t go!
Ho, ho, ho!
Who wouldn’t go!
Up on the housetop,
Click, click, click,
Down thru’ the chimney
With good Saint Nick.
Next comes the stocking
Of little Will,
Oh just see
What a glorious fill
Here is a hammer
And lots of tacks,
Also a ball
And a whip that cracks.
Ho, ho, ho!
Who wouldn’t go!
Ho, ho, ho!
Who wouldn’t go!
Up on the housetop,
Click, click, click,
Down thru’ the chimney
With good Saint Nick.

So when is the time decision going to be made? HUH????? Nancia is planning to come to my house to open them together, but we need to make plans, according to the designated time.
Also, I need to know when to have the cookie platter ready.
Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.Rocking around the Christmas Tree
at the Christmas party hop
Mistletoe hung where you can see
Every couple tries to stop
Rocking around the Christmas Tree
Let the Christmas Spirit ring
Later we’ll have some pumpkin pie
and we’ll do some caroling
You will get a sentimental feeling
When you hear voices singing
“Let’s be jolly; Deck the halls
with boughs of holly”
Rocking around the Christmas Tree
Have a happy holiday
Everyone’s dancing merrily
In a new old fashioned way

How about a bit later on Sunday the 9th than we usually do the opening? I always miss it, cuz I'm still working...but I will go along with whatever the majority says....
Tink's Mom (My name is really Susie)
I have been keeping myself super busy trying to stay out of trouble.
Is everyone just Too Too Excited? I sure am! We are so dang close now girls. I can't believe this is going so fast.
My power went out for five hours today because of the high winds and rain.(Well everyone's in my part of the north valley anyway.) It gave me time pick up and fold up fabrics to put away. Now just to find a place to put them. LOL. I will have a straight and clean sewing room for christmas. How fun is that? It usually doesn't happen until well after christmas.
