My person hasn't posted at all on here. And no info to go on in her message. Just have to use my imagination and hope she likes what I get her. Already have stuff for her and have lots of cute ideas to do!!!! I am so excited to be doing this!!! My 7 kitties are pestering the dog now since I am busy spending time in my sewing room, the dog is not so happy about this!!!! Big Baby he is (boxer/shepard who is terrified of the cats getting near him) But the cats have to have someone to love on!!!! Going shopping again this weekend!!!! That is the fun part!!!

This thread is growing by 3+ pages a day while I am at work.

Tomorrow I will be doing some more shopping and some crafting for my SS.

I have a general question (I know another one). Would you rather receive Christmas themed FQ or general ones? I have an idea of what I might do and tomorrow will be at the fabric shop.

I know I would love any FQ and themed ones could be lots of fun.

We had two older cats when we got our border collie cross. Cassie was a rescue and the cats soon taught her who was boss. She would take on a big dog if it got too close to the kids, but cowered from a cat. 13 years later Cassie is gone, but the current cats were taught how to manage a dog by the old ones and our new dog is afraid of cats. Loves all dogs and people.

And I do not mind a bit of cat hair, so if you need to you can check out the post where I added a bit more info on me and just send the package my way.

I hope my SS does not mind a bit of pet hair. She did not list any allergies, so hopefully all is well.

My person didn't list any allergies either Tothill, so I am hoping whoever she is is not allergic to cats......
All my cats are rescues, I bottle fed two of them from the day they were born. At one point I had 10 cats and 3 dogs, have lost at least one every year. All my pets are over 10 years old now. Have two cats right now that have cancer, and just put our 17 year old Golden retriever mix down two months ago. I tend to take in older pets, and give the lots of love before they go to heaven. I found a 11-12 year old cat about 3 years ago outside my office, she has finally decided she loves me. Two years ago a friend found a 13-14 yr old english setter that I took in. She had cancer, heart, kidney issues, lived for a year but boy she was a happy dog!!! Animals are my passion!!!!

purtercat92-- i agree with you! i only have rescued animals. my dogs are cocker spaniels. i call them 'the ladies' as they are 7 and 8, so not young or old. my cats are 20 and 4, about. i know we will lose simon someday, but till then he is my buddy. it was love at first sight for both of us. tiger is 4ish and an orange marmalade . anybody who has had an orange cat knows they are all love! he comes from a home of abuse and neglect. simon has been mine since 4 months old and prior to that was with a doting foster mom, so gratefully has never been abused in any way. i would love more but the 'ranger' (dh) says we have a full house. don't want to hoard, just hate pets in cages and without loved ones. i always want to adopt the oldest animals but dh won't let me because i will cry when they pass. aren't they entitled to at least that?
if my santa needs more info it's easy! i love brights, batiks, and romantic fabrics. i'm collecting cowboy prints, mostly juvenile. i adore kaffe fassett, amy butler, modern quilts and art quilts, jason yenter, and valori wells. and i love snickerdoodles!!!

I have been busy collecting up items for my SS. I almost have everything, just one or two more items and then I should be ready to send it off. Oh Oh, just remembered need a couple more items, my Pal has a furbaby, or is it furbabies?? can't forget them now can we. Off to the store again I go. I wonder what their favorite treat is?? Mine like duck jerky from Costco. Don't think the reindeer would like that though.

secret santa.... First a vist to the local quilt shop $20 plus in 4 Fat Quarters, a couple of neutal cotton threads, and a small kit that includes a pattern and fabrics... ready to make. Quality over quanity ... is so simple and easy when you go to the quilt shop first! then add couple of handmade items, candy, ornament or holiday items... now thats the package my secret santa wants, as per her wish list. I do think she will be very happy when she opens her Holiday box!
