thanks for the nice words glad you received it. argh no ironing before you posted! lol.. I do that all the time too.

the extra theme we had was "in a nutshell" so it was spring has sprung in a nutshell. I thought of flowers! sunshine and little critters and new birth and so baby mousy has a walnut shell carriage.. goofy off kilter me right? I once made a half walnut shell ornament with a mousy sleeping in it out of felt I stuffed him put him in the tiny shell and covered him with a felt blanket.. glued strings on top to hang it on the tree. almost 20 yrs ago.. still have that mouse. ah if my eyes could do things like that any longer.

I am anxious to see what I am getting.. a suprise or did you post it and I cant find it???

Brat, the mouse in a walnut shell sounds adorable!

Robin! Oh my goodness! I am sending you lots and lots and lots of hugs. How awful for you. You are an inspiration the way you just keep on smiling through it all.

The little chicks are for scrapbooking I suppose, I use them like stickers on envelopes (dork). I love cute little things it brings a smile to my face.
Ana I hope that life brings sunshine to you and the rest of the family soon. Sometimes things like this can bring you even closer together. I hope that everyone will continue to rise up and become healthier and stronger in the future. My prayers to you.

Crazyquiltingrobin: last year I tried to open a salami package. with my teeth. good idea! apparently my front tooth was weak from an old root canal. I felt a crumble? then I reach up and omg I have lost my front tooth. MY FRONT TOOTH. I went into the bathroom and wanted to cry. I was awaiting a transplant and the doctor said no way you can go have work done. you get an infection you are off the list .. so I walked around for almost 9 months no front tooth. I feel your misery. Had a bone marrow test before said no local is just fine. wrongo in the congo. go for knocking your tail out lol its gotta be the better more kinder way to do it and I wish you too smiles and sunshine girl. I think we hold our heads up high, try our best to be as strong as we possibly can and search in each day for what is right what is good. I am telling you its the ONLY real choice you have. It works. I promise you it works. (for those who know I am a good reference on this ). hugs to you.

I received my darling little quilt from luvstoquilt a few days ago. Finally, got the picture taken to show you all. This is a sweet little quilt with heart flowers and 30s fabrics and pink gingham even! She also put in a Ghirardelli dark chocolate bar with caramel (not shown in picture, cuz I ate it, hehe). This little spring quilt is hanging in my sewing room and makes me smile. Thank you luvstoquilt!!

Lisa, that looks beautiful. Can't wait to see it...in person. I just finished yours this afternoon and am going to sew the label on. I will PM you my address and would you send me yours, too.
The colors in your teaser are my favorites. I sure hope you like yours. I tried some applique - not by hand like I think yours is- but by machine and I definitely need more practice.
