Lynnie25.....I can identify with the aversion to the kitchen. In fact my stove has a sign on it that states.....For show only. Although anyone can come to my house and make any delicious thing they want and I will watch you make it. Can we call watching work too????? I know when I was younger I use to fiddle in the kitchen but I have lost my violin so I don't fiddle anymore. I think if the grandkids lived closer I would make Christmas cookies with them. Something about baking with the kids is so much more fun. I don't mind cleaning up after someone who bakes the goodies.....I guess that is just as important too. It is only noon here and I am still in my PJ's. I am still on Australian time. I go to bed at 2:30 (9:30 pm in Melbourne) and I get up at 10:30 (5:30am in Melbourne). Got to get switched over to this hemisphere here.

When I was young you recovered from long travel like that in about three days. I discovered after 40 however it took me a good week to get back to normal again. Oodles of needing sleep then. Just be patient with yourself your body clock will reset. keep your curtains open in the day and close it up really dark at night it helps.

Me goofy? MEE???? of course not I say I resemble that statment! I just now get ready here and do not groan to loudly.. MY SECOND DEC DOLL QUILT yes I did doing the neener neener neener dance around the floor oh yes I did. I started out with one idea then smartly cut all of my blocks one inch to small. sooo plan b. AND tada! it worked and I really like it so psychomoma its going to hit the mail tomorrow. And I will hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

other than that twiddling fingers. and that kitchen for looks let me at it. I will gladly bake and cook if someone else will clean up. oh heck yeah. I am a clean as you cook person. i can not sit to eat with dishes in the sink and on the stove because then there is not enough room to whip up dinner dishes after. so use one wash one.. I guess I would not make the best mess in your kitchen. AND cOOKING WITH KIDS is MESSY. Seriously Messy. heck mine are in their twenties and they drive me nuts with messy. guess I will make a rotten baking grandma. no doubt about it. I would.
