LOL I am so happy and lucky to be alive today. Color is of no matter to me. Its a bright silver that is coming in rapidly. I am 51. I earned every single one of those silver hairs and my hubby said let it be if you dont want to color it dont. I dont also we dont fight. Rare is the word I would use. a slightly raised tone or a raised eyebrow and that is a fight aroun here. I cant stay in a hostile enviro so I dont. He is best with this also. I let him rant and rave about work .. but try it with me one second? not happening. I seriously am no good with fighting. its not in me. oh the desire to state what I believe is right that is right there but the will to have conflict? it does not do hot and wonderous things for me. it eats me up so I decided it wont happen. if its so bad I cant live with it.. I move on. if its not think ten times first. Probably why this marriage will last. Also a huge believer in the let it cool off.. tomorrow it wont seem nearly as important to be right as right now does. this most marriage counselors tell you. three marriages behind me why did that take so long to kick in?

well nap time for bonzo. I finished sewing on binding on a quilt that was giving me hell today. now to hand finish it. anoter 8 hours and I am golden!

Linda, your philosophy sounds like Onalee's marvelous signature line ( buslady, Bertie )
The first time I ever read it came during a real tough period in life and I have been trying to live by it ever since... along with always trying to treat others the way you, yourself, would like to be treated.
Here it is, in case you don't have time to find her posts:
Onalee Rose
"There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."

My Prayers for those of you going through difficult times and wishes that everyone has a happy Memorial Day weekend!

Well Bertie, can you ladies hop in that car and head the other way to Iowa? Many years go I was having a very fine time with a little toooo much wine and I missed my boyfriend who lived in Ohio. My dear cousin who was two years older than me was with me, and we decided to hitchhike to Ohio, I know, I shutter to think of it now, anyhow we got a ride by a semi truck and was going down interstate 80- fell aleep in the bumpy cab, when we woke up we were in Lincoln, Ne!!! Needless to say, I was never very good with maps, or directions, or geography, you get the picture. Oh, my dear mother came and picked us up, she was NOT happy.

Lisalisa sent me the cutest quilt I have ever seen..it has so much stuff on it...I can't quit looking at it..even a picture of my beloved, Mr. Peach! Take a look...it is fabulous, zipper, pocket with snaps, diamonds, pearls, I can't stop smiling.

Here is the entire quilt and all of the extras lisalisa tucked in with it...fabric squares, card with stars sprinkled inside (I sprinkled them on the fabric for everyone to see) and a pattern that could be a preview of June's quilt if the 33" length would be accepted. Thanks so much lisa...I LOVE it!!!! You made my day!

Buslady, I have thick hair that gets thinned every 4 weeks but it is also curly..it does what it pleases..took me years to stop fighting it. I grew it long..it grew out to the sides instead of down and it took forever for it to dry. Cut short now, wash it, little gel and I am good to go! I do love your signature line and have been trying to live my life that way.

Robin prayers are with you and I hope none of the numbness happens to you. Elizibrat I hope you are feeling better, too. Krystyna my thoughts are with you..keep us posted on your procedure. I hope it is nothing serious.

Joe and I used to fuss a lot..both of us were the oldest child and a bit bossy. I miss the grumbling...we had some pretty good debates over the years. I could get mad at him but didn't allow anyone to abuse him. We had each others back for sure!

Cute story, GS Cody was about 4 or 5 and no matter what was asked, Grandpa's answer was an immediate "NO!". Cody marched over to him and said, "Gramps, Everything is NOT a No-No!" It was a great laugh and was delightful on a needlepoint pillow we had made just for him! I passed it on to Cody after Joe died...it is on his bed in the dorm!

Please be well everyone! Wish everyone lived nearby. Have a wonderful Memorial Weekend...love the parades and am thankful for our veterans.

Loved the kid in the kilt...adorable.

Really nice crazy quilt lisalisa. Excited to hear what is being that zipper. All of these quilts have been so great. This was my first swap, and I've learned so much that I can't wait for more!
