Thread: Sign Up for November 2012 Doll Quilt Swap - Thanksgiving or I'm Thankful For ?

I am happy to hear there are more bird lovers here. I am not alone. I think I win for picking the ugliest to claim my heart. In honor of this we are having a rib roast tonight. No turkeys. (ok the kids are coming at Christmas we can have one them). I wish all of you a happy Thanksgiving. I hope it goes smoothly for you. Lots of stress these big get togethers. I miss them LOL.

that was very creative photography posting that turkey quilt. The contrasting cement and the leaves. Artsy artsy! great idea wish I had thought of it. I received a beautiful dq from quiltingkrazy yesterday. She made a lovely quilt with falling leaves on it perfect absolutely perfect. I have no camera batteries right now. Can you post one for me? she also sweetly sent two pieces of adorable fabric to play with. how on earth did she know I love fabric? its like she read my mind. A BIG THANK YOU HUG for the wonderful quilt and treats. I love them

nancia, your DQ just needs its label and then it will be mailed to you - gosh I have never been so late getting my DQ sent as this month but I went with the theme 'what I'm thankful for' not a Thanksgiving DQ so it can be a little late

Sadly on that note, nancia will be my last swap partner as I am opting out of the swap for a little while. My first swap was November 2010 and my last will be November 2012. I have really loved swapping DQs but I have a few commitments close to home, like getting my quilting home business up and running, organising and running quilt challenges for the LQS, working on papier mache projects for an upcoming exhibition next year... as well as quilting, quilting, quilting. I really need more hours in a day

lynnie-- you know they're going to blame me for you leaving!! lol. i am so glad i had a chance to partner with you again. it has been lots of fun. when you are ready to come back we'll be waiting , arms open wide! i hope you will still check in and leave comments and show us pictures of your work! i know you will be successful in all the fun things you have planned! your dq will be along by the end of the month-- i have been pretty darn busy, and 2 weeks with no sewing has really set my schedule on its ear!!!

Lynnie, I will miss you. But I may take a year off from the DQ's too. I want to finish some other projects that I have going. But I will lurk in here.

Lynnie wishing you the best of luck with your new venture. It sounds exciting. But you can sneak a couple hours away for swapping surely. I know they are hiding right there those hours check out behind that curtain or under the table.. you will find them!

ok where is everyone for signing up for December? its the super special 40th block swap with fun themes and everything! Swappers join arms and lets tackle this one together! marching right over to that swap and signing up now.. come on stop dragging those feet! its fun its an adventure its swap with few sign ups.. I know its Dec but its so fun and you guys are so incredibly creative and talented. I don't want to have to swap with me if I don't have to the suprise factor goes way down.
