I have to ask your patience if I am not present on the thread as much as I'd like to be ... or a little slow answering PMs.
My aunt, a brilliant professional woman and the family matriarch aged 81 had trouble breathing. Tests were run and she has masses in her lungs and liver. She is not a smoker. As awful as that is, there is an additional problem. She is a hoarder who has filled her duplex to the brim as well as a friend's apartment and several storage facilities. To round things out, she has 16 sick old cats. Major problems figuring out what to do. I am extremely allergic to cats and cannot run into New York City to feed them and clean litter boxes every day so something has to be done. My sisters are dealing with medical decisions and I'm not sure what my aunt will do. This is so sad and such a huge mess.

Count me in for the Oct exchange. I'm not much on Halloween. We live in a rural area with a very long driveway. I haven't had trick or treaters, here for over 15 years! I don't have any religious barriers or tragic memories holding me back, I guess once the kids left home I just lost interest.
