A good beginning. Just keep changing those flowers till your happy. personally I like the big flower, maybe a different fabric but the size and shape is nice with the can. Love the polka dot watering can.

Hi everyone. Boy, has this thread been quite for the past few months.

So what is everyone up to?

I see a few pictures and ideas going on.

Hope all is well out there.

I made it through the dregs of winter and finally the first time I could open the windows all day, yesterday. It was wonderful. And while enjoying the freshness I spotted Baltimore Orioles, Rose Breasted Grosbeaks and Indigo Buntings at my feeders, along with all the regular visitors. These birds are just passing through to cooler climates in the north. I was just lucky enough to look outside at the right time to see them.

I have finished another quilt top and will post it later.

lets see what everyone is doing!!!!!
peace

Hi again. I have a few photos for show and tell.

The birds may not be so good, I caught them on the fly, so to speak!

The quilt is a test of a pattern that was discovered inside one of those pre-cut packages. A friend, not a quilter, but wants to be, bought it because she liked the fabric and it was on sale at WM and ......

after the purchase, discovers there is not enough material in the pkg to make the quilt. She brought her problem to me to figure out and of course she was right.

I told her I would figure the amount of yardage she would need to actually make the quilt.

While I did this, I wanted to test the pattern for correctness and this is the result.

This is not the packaged material from my friend.

The pattern s called Lattice Quilt and can be found at fabriceditions.com A very simple and quick make.

Ube, I think the fabrics you chose are gorgeous. And I like the pattern -- it look like lattice!

Wow ube I like that pattern! I have to make a baby quilt using black red and white and that pattern just might work. I made 3 bowl warmers for my mom for Mothers Day, a cute zippered clutch for my friends birthday and I finished the Swirly Dresden Plate. Made some outdoor slipcovers this weekend, and I am thinking about making some tote bags for fun. Oh and a rooster WH! We have Baltimore Orioles back along with the ruby throat hummingbirds and goldfinches. Yay spring!

Started working on my wall hanging yesterday and got it all put together. Need to get it sandwiched and quilted. I have that same focus fabric Ube, don't you just love it. Nice looking quilt you made with it.

I have my wall hanging pieced and ready to be quilted. Then all I need to finish is the emblishments. I am hoping to get it all quilted this weekend.
