Congratulations! I know how good it feels to have it organized.

I just finished putting my fabric on 3 bookshelves. It should make it easier to find what I want as I finish projects. I do have a few tubs of oddball fabric like Christmas and Halloween and some heavier weight fabric for book bags. My MIL's stash is still in tubs along with donated scraps.

I agree. You want easy access to your fabric and NOT to have to do over what you just did. Job well done !!

That looks really nice! I folded my fabric a few months ago -- it reminded me of what I have and I've found I've been working at using it. I love the way it looks when folded like that -- makes it so much easier to find what you want!

JanieH -- pick me, pick me-- I would come fold your fabric -- maybe I'd be able to see your Dear Jane in progress too! LOL

What a pretty stash! And I know you're going to enjoy being able to thumb through your fabric now. Personally, I store mine like you have and I don't want it on-end. I don't think it's as good a use of space as this. Either way, you've done a great job and I'm sure you'll inspire others to clean up their stash.

Beautiful! I'm in process of putting my fabric on bookshelves. If it's in a tote or something, it doesn't get used. Besides, looking at the fabric inspires me.
